My suggestion is to go to places like Children's Place(who has great sales), outlet malls or consignment sales. By the 10/12's for about $3 or 4 and take them to get altered for about $8. That is what my SIL has been doing for years.

Look for brands that carry "Husky". This will keep him in his clothes size that fit well. JC Penney carries them.

Old Navy has jeans with adjustable waists for boys. These always seem to fit my son when we had problems EVERYWHERE else finding pants that fit in the length and weren't too tight in the bottom. They seem to be a bit roomier.

I have been buying husky jeans for my son (who is now 13) for many years. Sometimes they are hard to find, but I almost always had luck at Sears.

Luck to you!

Huskies at Sears or Levines.

Hi, I have found that Target has a good selection of Husky Jeans and Ross has some good deals on boys jeans. Also, I buy the Adjustible waist jeans at Target, gymboree, gap, childrens place that are a little long but if they are slighty to big I can adjust them...

Sears
JCPenny has half sizes too.
