Oh ya! This is the best stuff ever, and yes but the ibuprofen in it! I couldnt' breastfeed my first two past a few weeks from pain, had this with my third and I wen't over 14 months with her! I wish I had known about it with my first two!

The other stuff didn't do anything for me not lanolin or breast milk...etc

I had wonderful luck with the Lansinoh lanolin breast cream. You don't have to remove it to feed baby and you can buy it at any drug store or places like Target. Used it with all 3 of mine, I used it as a preventative before I even had any problems.
I would be gun shy about having ibuprofen directly on our nipple and going into your baby's mouth, especially so young.

Those cracks indicate your baby's latch/positioning isn't great; breastfeeding shouldn't be painful because pain is a sign that something's wrong.

Lanolin worked well for me.

Yes, this helped a lot and I did have them put the ibuprofen in. I don't think the baby gets enough of it to affect him/her. Definitely request it. It worked much better than lanolin or anything else I tried.

Wow, I wish I had known about this stuff! I used regular nipple creams, and the other standard stuff like airing out your nipples, applying breast milk, etc. Helps with the cracks, but omg, the pain! Don't believe people when they say breastfeeding shouldn't hurt. I've had three babies--we've had latch issues with two of them. Tongue tie with one of them--both of these babies were breastfed til age 2. So then when I had my third, and he had no latch issues, no tongue tie, nothing, I thought my nipples could handle it, and that I'd have smooth sailing. Wrong! It hurt just as badly. Seriously though, if someone were to suck on any part of your body 10x a day, it would hurt, at least somewhat.

I used Arbonne's FC5 Skin Conditioning Oil. It's botanical based and abides by swiss standards. Lanolin is actually harvested from sheeps' sweat, natural but not something I want on me, or in my little one. Hope this helps

I don't know about nipple cream, but I have heard that lanolin is good for this.
