It's twins!...help with Baby Shower!
I am hosting a baby shower for my cousin who is expecting twin girls. I had an idea for a shower favor to give everyone for attending, but I could use a little help. My plan was to come up with some sort of poem about "double the blessings, double the fun...etc" and then put things that pertained to the word "double" in a little goodie bag. For example Doublemint gum, double stuff oreos, Twin Bing candy bar, etc. However, I need some help with ideas for more goodies. I am drawing a blank and I'm sure there is more stuff out there that has "double" or "twin" in the name. Please help! Thanks!

What a cute idea! I love that! I also have a cousin expecting twins, and although I am not really helping to plan the shower I am helping on the day itself. I am going to steal your idea if you don't mind and pass it on the cousin who is planning it. :D
I will think more about it, but I did come up with Twix candy.
You could also carry on that theme by doing "double" food. Like double chocolate cake (or marble if the babies are one of each gender) double decker sandwiches. I'm sure there is a lot more stuff, but I can't think of anything else right now. I can't wait to see what other answers you get. I bet you could find help with the poem for the invite if you just google "twin shower invitation". I got the poems for showers I have done that way.
Also, don't forget to think of things with TWO in the name...

I thinks it's a very neat idea. The only thing I could think of with the word "double" in it is Double Dipped Peanuts and Double Bubble Gum. You don't want to forget about the simple ones too like Junior Mints, Mike & Ikes, Sugar Babies, and Baby Ruth.
Good Luck! I hope you get enough good ideas!
