I’m sorry not to be able to provide info on BATH BALL and at the risk of sounding tactless, want to ask you – have you considered homeopathy? It does have a good track record with eczema, if you use classical homeopath (somebody with letters CCH after the last name) that is.
Good luck with whatever method you choose!

Hi Ana,
My son recently had some eczema. The doctor said not to give him baths - do short showers, not too long and don't bathe every day. I use Aveeno Bath Oil on my son after bath or shower while he's wet and when his skin is bad, I put it on him at bedtime then put his pajamas over. This helped a great deal.
Good luck.

Hi Ana, my name is C. I am the mother of Riley 16 months old, he too has Eczema. I just started noticing it about 4 months ago. I asked his Pediatrician what I should do for it and, she recemeded using Aveeno. let me tell you it's awesome. his skin has never felt or looked better. if you have already tried this then you might look in to getting a water softing system. it will reduse the ammount of chlorine and it helpes with hard water. it will make the skin keep it's moisture and help prevent dry skin.
I hope I was able to help you. Good luck to you!

But what are you doing about the eczema? First off, do you know what foods are causing it? The typical ones are wheat, dairy, eggs, soy.
Second, what are you putting on the skin to help it. I hope the first choice is not steroids. This will not help in the long run and thins the skin. I have so been down this path.
I became a Sensaria representative for this reason for my daughter who had severe eczema. We replaced all soap with the body wash, applied Freshening Mist and the Nourishing Moisturizer in the beginning when it was really bad and now she has normal skin and uses the regular Sensaria body lotion. No more eczema. There is a one year guarantee on everything and I offer a 20% discount to first time customers. Who else has those two?
btw - the body wash, pour it straight into the water and it makes bubbles, helps to soften the water and my daughter could stay in the water for an hour at a time if she wanted. Used it on her hair when she was younger too.
Not fun. Good idea on removing the chlorine.

I have lived with eczema all my life and have passed it on to my children. The key is to keep skin constantly moisturized. My ped has instructed me to give fewer baths to the kids and not to use hot water. The use of cetaphil as a mild cleanser works as well.
The lotion that I found that tremendously helps with eczema is emu lotion. It is rather expensive, but definitely helps me and the kids deal with the symptoms. I've been able to find the lotion at Henry's and a local Health Food Store.
I've tried other homeopathic remedies (Evening Primrose Oil, other oil type capsules) on myself and haven't found any that have worked.

If you do indeed have too much chlorine in your water, you might try a filter
The AllPure shower filter removes dirt, sediment, chlorine, and odors from your shower - http://allpurewater.com/pages/showerfilter.html
Also, fish oil supplements will help the eczema.

Eczema is usually caused by something going on inside the body not the outside. He/She is either eating something that his body does not agree with or lacks something in his body that he needs. Just like when we get a pimple. It is caused from something inside us and not on the outside. My oldest had eczema on her face until I stopped nursing her. Nothing that I put on her skin worked. I ate a lot of walnuts and pecans while I nursed her. Well what do you know, she was allergic to those nuts. We are now a nut free house. My friend suffered from eczema her entire life. She had a bad patch on her arm until her 30's. Her son had it on his face while she nursed him. Her body was lacking certain nutrients because it disappeared within a week of drinking Monavie an antioxidant health beverage. Her babies eczema went away just through her breast milk. She needed the extra antioxidants that she was not getting. If you would like to talk to her then send me an e-mail. But again, I tried all sorts of skin products and nothing worked until I changed my childs diet.
Good luck and feel free to contact me with any questions.
