Besides babysitting, is there really a job that i can stay at home with my girls, and do something to make money? I am not talking about saleing stuff, i have tried, Avon, Pampered Chef, Melaluca, insurance stuff. And NONE of it, helping me actually get an income where i could stay home. I am begging, for someone in the know of a really great stay at home job, that i can do, keep my kids, and go to school all at the same time. Please! Please! Please let me in on the secret. Thanks moms!

T.,
Since you've done many other network marketing jobs before, why not look into a new one that is very simple? I can give you the pros and cons of my business and you can decide whether it's a good fit for you. Keep in mind any home-based biz takes a while to take off, but if you're on a good team then it pays off. Vemma is about ready to release a new insanely healthy energy drink...who doesn't want to try one of those?!!

Own your own business. Or like me, work for someone that owns a small business. I keep the books (AP, AR, Payroll, etc) for a small construction company. I work maybe 20 hours a week. I work after everyone else goes to bed or during nap time. Yes, I am blessed to be home with my kids, but there is a lot of sacrifice. I sleep maybe 5 hrs per night and I never sit down to take a break. I watch zero TV and (and yes, my husband does help with lots of stuff but he works long hours). I have dreamed of going back to school and getting my masters and study to take the CPA, but that is so far off in the distance, I don't know that it will ever happen. I will say, depending on how old your girls are, that it is almost impossible to work and parent well at the same time. If your girls are older, this may be easier, but mine are 2 and 4 and they HATE to see Mommy working. If I even attempt to sit down and work all heii breaks loose. I am not sure how much longer my job will last because the company is not doing well, so I am thinking about doing home childcare since I want to homeschool my kids anyway.
It's all about balance, which is easier said than done!!
All the best, liz

I have a home-based business that thankfully not only allows me to help my hubby with the bills but I actually make more than what I made when I worked the corporate office job. I am very blessed, but what I wanted to tell you is to find something you are passionate about, something you may not be perfect at, but working on it makes you happy. Unfortunetely most stay at home jobs require you to sell something (even mine - I have to sell myself and my artistic vision), but if you like and believe in what you are selling you will be very successful.

Good luck with everything!

Hi, T.!

I don't think there are too many "jobs" where you can work from home. Some companies offer telecommuting and I have heard of some where you can answer phones from home, but I don't know how much money you can make doing that? The great thing about having your own business is you can set your own hours and work as little or as much as you like. The key is to work the hours you do give to your business smartly. Also, if you are going to do a home-based business, it has to be something you are passionate about! If you don't like to cook, Pampered Chef isn't gonna do it for you! I told you a little about my wine business where I educate people about wine and let them "try before they buy". I don't "sell"...in fact it isn't even legal for me to sell it in Texas...all I can do is educate. I don't carry any stock at all or spend any money out of pocket on the tastings....but you will have to dedicate some time to it...you'll probably have to have parties with whatever company you sign up with, especially when you are first starting! I'd be happy to answer any questions for you and I know several women in various companies that I would be happy to connect you with if you'd like!

Good luck! I hope you find what you are looking for!
Cheers!

Well, I think that I might have something for you to look into. I am a Premier Designs Jeweler, we do home shows for jewelry and such. So much fun, I make about $2000 a month with it. BUT, my husband became apart of the Ignite business. It's part of Stream Energy. When you become part of Ignite, your goal is to gain 3 business partners and to get 10 customers to switch their electricity to Stream Energy. It's a warm market so you talk to your friends and family. When Texas was deregulated on electricity it just allows for other companies to come in and compete with TXU. When we switched, we are now saving $40 a month on our bill.

The money involved is HUGE. This company should be a billion dollar company by next year, at only 3 years in business. It took Walmart 18 years to hit a billion dollars. We saw the light when we heard about Ignite and how much it's going to change our lives.

Check out my husband's website, www.joelhall.igniteinc.biz. You can watch a little video, read great information about the business and being a customer. If at anything, you can switch your electricity to Stream Energy and save 20-40% a month on your bill.

Email us if you have questions. I'm helping him with the business right now because I stay at home with the kids.
