Is Any One Aware Oklahoma Is Getting Hammered

Oh, it is just awful. All of these storms are awful.
I am thankful though that God is still working miracles. They found a baby alive in a tree today in Joplin. We just have to keep praying. There are lots of people in the path of this weather.

I did not know ... where at in OK? I know that all over we have been getting hit with crazy weather ... if you pray keep it going for all of our severe weather victims.

I dont watch a ton of news news and The stuff on MSNBC of the coverage of Joplin...was nothing compared to the raw footage I just watched on youtube! The News station that was watching it live going across the city outside...holy cow! I cant believe it...I started crying these people stayed on live to make sure people if they could hear new to get to cover. Thats amazing!

I am praying so hard and heavy for all of you guys...II could not imagine being a mama in one of the areas being hit hard right now!!! god be with you guys!!!!

I am praying praying praying everyone is safe or finds their loved ones safe. I hope everyone will stay safe in the path of more storms.

I have been crying off and on all day. I am crying for everyone who has lost someone or something in these storms.

Yes, actually. I've been in a panic for the past hour and a half here in CT watching the OK live news streams because I have a dear Okie friend. She's been updating her FB in order to help people. They're also getting hit in Missouri.

Warnings keep getting extended in Oklahoma time. The warnings were supposed to expire by 6:45 and now they're going until 7:15 at least.

What I find strange about these spring storms is how everyone is reacting. We get them as bad as we have seen for a while on New Years eve. Then Arkansas? gets them and we are complaining that they stole our FEMA people!!1 Oh but good news we got them back on Good Friday when our airport and a mess of the city gets clobbered! Oh hecks, Alabama!!!! *shakes fist* you stole our FEMA again.

At least here it seems like it is being reported as a contest. There are debates whether Joplin or Alabama got a worse tornado. Perhaps I am alone but I am having a hard time getting excited about the prospect that we get it worse when so many people are losing homes, getting hurt and worse, dying. :(

Meh, maybe the storms will come through tomorrow and get rid of the damn Cicadas!

Sorry I am a bit crabby about all this. News people are driving me nuts.

On the phone with my sister, who is outside Wichita KS, we are watching the storm front approach on radar. They are going to get the same system - already under tornado watch and severe storm warnings.

Scary weather.

I saw it on the CNN website. there is says at least one but heading for multiple. And there is a bit that they could be headed to Joplin which got hit this past weekend.

I'm in Plano/Allen TX (northern burb of Dallas) and it is all over our news.

THey are predicting some rough weather for us a little later today. I hope it is very late getting here because my 16 yr old is at cheer practice and has a dinner afterward. We hope there is no hail damage to her car while it is out and that she gets home safely.

I have 3 friends who lost houses in these storms today. Two of the families are safe and well, just cleaning up and collecting things that can be saved. Their houses are totally destroyed.
One family needs prayers right now PLEASE! The mother was at home with her 3 kids and the tornado hit their house and demolished it. They found her 5 year old daughter injured beyond recognition and mediflighted her to the hospital. The mother was also taken to the hospital with severe injuries and is also pregnant. The 15 month old baby boy was found about 15 yards from the house and revived on the hood of a police car and the officer took him to the hospital because they couldn't wait for the helicopter. He was later transferred to another hospital and has severe head trauma and they do not know if he'll make it. The 3 year old boy is still missing. We are praying for a miracle right now! Please pray that he will be found alive!
We are so blessed to have AWESOME weathermen here who know tornadoes like no one else! They are amazing and have been responsible for SO many lives saved by the advanced warnings! For as bad as these tornadoes were tonight there could have been a LOT more fatalities!

I only have dents in my car I think. If I got any roof damage it's probably minor. (It was dark when I left for work.)
