After I took the pill I was irregular for almost three years, even after I stopped taking it. Pills sometimes really throw your system off.

I was going up to six weeks with no period and then having horribly long, heavy periods. This lasted several months and my doctor thought it might be my pill and wanted to change my dose. I did not stay on that too long since we are trying for another baby, but since I stopped taking the pill I've been almost normal... Definitely call your doctor but make sure you're taking your pills perfectly. Keep a bleeding chart so you can show him or her what is going on.

Have you gone to the doctor about it? The same thing was happening to me and it turned out I had PCOS. I am not overweight, don't have hair on my chin, but I have it.

Make a doctor appointment and make sure that everything is okay internally. Good luck to you. :)

I am 41 I had irregular periods all my life and this is what happening to me. It started at very other month, every six months, to I don't know when the last one was. I didn't really know it until I tired to have kids because I had been on the pill. Don't freak about what I am about to say because it isn't a big deal. My gyn had a MIR done I had a non-cancerous tumor in my pituitary gland. I was told 1/4 of people have these tumors and it isn't normally isn't a problem. Mine just messed with my cycle and hormones. I went on cylomed. to have 2 kids and now take hormons. Look on the net about pituituary glands it can give you more info and like I said isn't a big deal. You just need a doctor that knows what they are doing. To put you on the right meds to have a kid if you want or balance or hormones. Good Luck
