Invitation Ideas

You could create a 4 Wheeler Crossing Sign on the front and the invitation details on the back. It would take basic clip art of a 4 wheeler in black on top of a square shape card stock...use yellow and black coloring like a road sign. Then on the backside or front say Turning 3 & movin' onto 4! Or something with a play on driving & 4 wheeler. You could make it more unique by using a decorative paper pin to fasten two card stock together so the wording is on the inside & the front can rotate up or fold up?

Most household printers can't handle good card stock though...I would take the design to Kinkos, Staples or some print shop to have them print everything for you.

I have trouble finding invitations for themes too and in making them myself I have grown to love making invitations for my kids!

google images online. copy and past an image onto photoshop or another program. or you can go to vistaprint.com and upload your image to have a professional card made for you. or print the image onto cardstock to use for your scrapbook idea. i've seen atv scrapbook stickers before, maybe look at hobby lobby...

Try looking for 4-wheeler stickers that you could use on the invitations. Micheal's, Hobby Lobby, or any scrap booking store has a great selection of stickers. Good Luck!

I have used this Etsy.com seller for unique (read: my son's love of all things involving a vacuum, lol) cupcake toppers and they turned out great! She can do custom anything.

Or you could buy printable invitations (Target, Office Depot, etc) and use cute clipart/graphics and make your own that way.

I design birthday cards on the side of whatever theme. It is very cutesy and can include a picture of your son on it. I create two different designs and you pick one of the two. I send it to a Walgreens near you and all you have to do is pick them up there. Very simple and original.

Have you checked on eBay at all? I've ordered custom invitations numerous times from different sellers on eBay and many of them carry multiple graphics. Might be worth checking into just in case someone might have a 4 wheeler design that would work for you.

Try the 'track' route. Hope you make tracks to ____'s 3rd bday party. Or- ____ is making tracks on his 3rd bday. Have a cool dirt cake (crushed oreos) with toy 4-wheelers on it.
You coudl cut images out of a 4 wheeler magazine and trace your own image, have you son color the 4 wheeler and make coloerd copies for the invite.

Try a teacher supply store. I know I have seen 4 wheeler die cuts that could easily be turned into invitations.
I usually go to Teacher Tools in Allen and US Toy in Plano.

I just made my son's train party invitations from scratch too b'c I didn't want a Thomas party, but just a Train party for him. I would try "googling" for a honda or 4-wheeler die-cut that you can print from the internet. Cut it out, then trace the image onto a piece of colored cardstock to adhere to a colored/blank invitation which you can pick up in the scrappy aisles of any HL or Michaels. I added some ribbon and some brads. Then I used a stamp for the inside that had the details for Who, where, time, etc. Hope that helps! If you have a cricut (aka die-cut machine), and the right cartridge, that would save some time, but those are very expensive. Hope all this inspires you to create exactly what you need.
