Interested in Medical Transcribing - Does Anyone Know About Online Training?

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone knows about those online training schools. I am interested in getting certified for Medical Transcribing and have been researching the different online courses. I am looking for a completely online training course. With an 18-month old, I don't have time to go to school. I am currently looking at the Allied Schools, but was wondering if anyone knew anything about them or if anyone knew of other schools with a good reputation. Any information would be greatly appreciated!!!

Don't know about medical transcribing but if you have a hobby or something you like to do then you need to read a book called $500 Startup (available at the book's website www.500DollarStartup.com for free for a limited time).

It is honestly the best and most complete step by step guide to starting your own business. Real things like an ebay business to owning a blog that pays you money. Easy read not technical. Shows how anyone can start a business.

This is a very late response, but I just saw your request. I was looking into TRS Institute www.trsinstitute.com but I cannot afford it right now. Their training program is completely online - it was recommended by another military wife on an online blog. I thought it looked like a pretty good program, but I didn't look closely into anything else. Hope this helps!

University of Phoenix has a really good rep. I have looked at some of their programs, but they are pricy. Then again everything is pricy these days!
