Inquiring About Preschools

I am i nthe same boat. I have a 3 year old boy and Two girls 5 and 8. It has been hard to find friends espically for myself.
That price for pre-school is a lot high. I was going to send my sone to a school 3 days a week for 130 a month. I can't remember the name of it at the moment but it is in woodstock. I have enrolled my son, whose 4 1/2 yrs. old, in pre-school at North Atlanta Church of Christ. I will be paying around $180 a month for 3 days a week (9-12:30). I don't know anyone that has gone here but it is where we have been attending church.

Check with your local churches. A lot of them offer preschool programs at a very reasonable rate, as well as usually 1/2 days, five days a week. I had my son in a church preschool program, when he was three, and it was great!

Hi K. I have had my four year old in private preschool since he was two I love it. I looked into the mother morning out programs as well and decided to go with the preschool. That price does seem kind of high I will be paying $226 a month for 5 days a week
I searched and for a 3 year old extended 9-1 it is only $170 a month. I would search for more schools unless you are set on this one due to reputation etc.. let me know if I can help I have been through it L.

I have to say that $360 is really expensive for 3 days a week. I would keep looking.

that seems a little high for 3 days. If you are close to Marietta (Canton Road/Piedmont/Sandy Plains) - my children fo to Piedmont Baptist Pre-School. 1/2 Days - and they have assortment of days through the week pending on the age of your child. I've been very happy with them!

I think the name is United Methodist Church which is near "The Square". Like you, I am moving to the area early may with a 3 1/2 year old and a 19 month old. Fortunately I have made a good friend in the area that enrolled my son for the 3 day program next year. I think it is around 180 per month. I visited the school and was real pleased. Their teachers are present with each child as you drop them off and pick them up. I believe parents are welcome to observe. Feel free to e-mail me. I just sign up for my 3 years old daughter at St Andrew Church its in Roswell and I pay $180.00 for 3 days a week. If you want I can give thir numbers and direction. Its not far from exit 7 on 400.

When I moved here I found the prices to be higher than the midwest. I sent my children to a Montessori school and next year I am switching to a school for "pre-K" that I visited and loved... Lyndon Academy. I have 2 girls ages 3 and 4. They will both go to "pre-K" there next year. Good luck with your search.
