Ink on Walls

without repainting can anyone tell me how to get my 2 yr olds art project off of my walls? it was done in ink. thanks in advance.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

majic eraser got most of it off and hair spray took of the rest in the crevices of the texture. I told everyone whoever leaves the pen in reach wll be the one responsible for cleaning it up till he is old enough to do it himself. :)

I have the same problem. Rubbing alcohol will get it off my tile floors. My hallway is painted in a flat paint so the magic eraser hasn't worked or the alcohol. My two year old found a green sharpie pen and did my entire hallway from the office to my bedroom. I have resounded to repainting the hallway with that childproof paint that allows you to wipe things right off.

Try the magic eraser.

Either rubbing alcohol or possibly a Magic Eraser.

Depends on the quality of the paint on the walls. Our apartment walls were painted a tan color w/ REALLY bad paint (of course). It wipes right off with water!

Aerosol hairspray works well, so does rubbing alcohol. Depending on the finish of the paint, Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is awesome. However, don't use that on anything other than a matte finish or you will lose your shine.

I have used the magic eraser for lots of coloring on walls...crayons and pencils. For ink I have used hairspray which works well if it is not too much. I have had the most success with my floor steamer that I use to mop the floors. I just hold it onto the walls, the carpet, the furniture....wherever has been decorated by my little ones. Good luck

Have you tried a magic eraser? I don't think I could live without them! Won't work on flat paint though. Just a warning.

Try hairspray or alcohol.
