"Ink Explosion" Trying to Find a Way to Get Ink Stains Out of My Dryer
A typical incident and was wondering if anyone knows how to get the Ink stains out of your dryer. My son left an ink pen in his pocket and made it to the dryer and got ink not only on my dryer but also the clothes. I am not to worried about the clothes they can be replaced but I hate seeing Ink in my dryer. Any suggestions on getting the ink stain out.

My husband leaves pens in his shirt sometimes! I've gone through this many times. Alcohol or "Goo Gone" works better than hairspray for me. One time it was so bad, that didn't work, so for the dryer, my husband used automotive rubbing compound. That took the remaining ink off.
Good luck!

Spraying hair spray directly on the ink stains, and then blotting with a clean rag or paper towel is somewhat effective. By all means do not dry the item in the clothes dryer until you have treated it repeatedly, as the heat will set the stain.

Go to any Family Dollar or Dollar Tree and get "Awesome" it is only $1 it will get any stain out and it harmless. Chances are you can get the ink out of the clothing as well. Even after it has been dryed

My son did the same thing. Put hairspray on the dryer stains, wait for a few minutes and wipe them off. It may take a couple of applications. Also works on the clothes. Good luck!
