J.R. asks from Minneapolis, MN on March 31, 2006
I am trying to get pregnant with my second child. My first child required infertility help. My current infertility specialist just is not the right fit for me anymore. Does anyone out there have an infertility doctor based in the Minneapolis area that they highly reccomend? Any insight is extremely appreciated.
Thanks so much for your time.

Hi J. - I couldn 't get the respond with referral to work. I HIGHLY recommend OB, GYN & Infertility in Edina. I used Dr. Lisa Baker at that practice, but ALL of there doctors are GREAT. I have 3 friends that have gone here too. Dr. Baker & Dr. Marcus were named in Mpls/St. Paul magazine as 2 of the top OB/Gyn of Mpls. There is info on this website about this practice, so look there for contact info. otherwise if you need additional info from me - feel free to email me @ ____@____.com. I had 3 miscarriages before seeing Dr. Baker and am now the proud mother of two beautiful children, boy 2yr old, girl 7 mos old! Best of Luck to you!!!

we went to Reproductive Medicine Center at Fairview Riverside. We tried IUI and it worked for us after 4 times. We were happy with them and would go back. Our little miracle Maya just turned one and we would love to have a sibling for her.

J., I don't need any help with fertility but I am currently an egg donor for an infertility clinic in Mpls. I'm on my 3rd donation with them and I've been very pleased with their services. Both of my couples from my donations have gotten pregnant. I'm pretty hopeful that they could help you too. Here is a link to their website: http://www.ivfmn.com/
I really hope you can find a more suitable clinic to help you get pregnant. I have a lot of friends who suffer from it :( Good luck <3

I have a great Dr. Her name is Jennifer Arnhold. She is at Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Infertility. The office is in Edina, but there are 2 other offices in Robbinsdale and Plymouth. Dr. Arnhold is great, I just love her. And let me tell you that I am very very picky about Doctors. My sister also goes there and see Dr. Brown. My mom sees Dr. Rice. They are all women. There are a few male docs there if you prefer that are great as well. The Edina office number is ###-###-####. The website is www.obgynmn.com
The nurses are really nice too. Good luck.

Hi J. - Although I didn't have trouble (we thought we might), I know that my doctor is one of the best in the state and she specializes in infertility. She was even in the Mpls. magazines top doctors list. I also have a couple of friends that had success with her office. It's called Clinic Sofia (she started her own office about a year ago - used to work for Paul Larson Clinic) and her name is Dr. Donna Block. My neighbors mother is also a friend and fellow Ob/Gyn and she highly recommends Donna.
Good luck - she's wonderful and so is the Lisa Mattson & Justine. I don't prefer Bains and I had a friend who didn't like her either. Check out their website www.clinicsofia.com
