Infant Piercing

Does anyone know where I can get my infants ears pierced in the seattle everett area. I am not looking to get it done at a kiosk at the mall but by a professional piercer. I have done the research on infant piercing and have had my ears pierced since I was an infant.

What can I do next?

Hello V.,

Our daughter is 11 now. We had her ears pierced at the Everett Mall when she was just a little over a year old so that she wouldn't remember any type of pain of sorts.

If you're not familiar, it is a very quick procedure. And as you may have seen already, they have cute little earrings to choose from.

Just to let you know, our daughter never did get any infections at all. I always kept her clean anyway.
Take Care!

Check w/ your pediatrician. Most of them do it.

(I had mine done by our pediatrician, but I was 7 years old...and that was over 30 years ago.)

I don't have advice, but I wanted to say good for you for looking into going to a professional piercer! I'm not totally comfortable with piercing babies' ears, but I am so glad that you did your research and will not be taking her to the mall!

Best wishes!

Claire's, Icing's or Afterthoughts...all the same company. Are very good with piercings, they really go through some extensive training (required to pierce 5 friends, family members...before they are allowed to pierce customers. And pierce lots of fake ears before hand). I worked for them when I was younger and would trust them to do the ear piercing. Everything is sterilized and safe. I would suggest waiting until she is three months old to get them pierced. I refused to do three months and younger when I pierced ear because it wasn't safe. And I would also suggest you have them pierced at the same time. (call ahead and see when there is a day when their are two available employees). And Please don't be stinchy on the money and use the gold earing's. it will cost you a good $40 but I have seen some bad things happen when young babies get pierced with other metals. And make sure to keep them good and clean.

My friend took her daugther to her pediatrician who did it. (This- I think_ was a ped in factoria area). You should ask yoou pediatrician if he/she has any suggestions. S.
