snap and go is great, but i highly recommend the peg gerego pliko p3. i sold it when i had my second to buy a double and i litterally miss it every day! I have a graco infant seat that i used for a few months with my now 1 yr old if you're interested. It's barely used because we had a per perego for the first few months.

Hi. I have a Britax companion carseat - brand new in unopened box - and an extra base to sell for $125. It's one of the safest seats. You can check it out on Consumer Reports. I also have a MacLaren Easy Traveler that it fits into for walks. It's very light and easy to use with storage below. Contact me at ____@____.com if you're interested...

I have a Snap N Go which is a stroller frame that you can pop your infant seat into. The type of snap n go you get depends on what kind of infant seat you buy. I used my old one and the new one for regular walks (of the sidewalk variety) and loved it! I never had to worry about the right fit because the kids were in their own infant seats, snug and safe. Plus the newer Snap N Gos have huge baskets underneath for storage and cup and stuff holders on the handle. You'll need something else for later when baby is out of the infant seat but for now, I'd recommend it!

edited to add - I bought an infant seat based on how easy it is to snap in and out of the car and how easy it is to carry. But with the snap n go (which folds totally flat), I don't really carry it anywhere!

I agree with the Snap and Go suggestion for the stroller... I was also recommended to buy the Graco Safeseat for an infant car seat. The plus is that it goes up to 30lbs, so while you can tote it around in the beginning (and it fits fine in the Snap and Go), you can then leave it installed in your car till 30lbs/1 year, just obviously not carrying your baby in it when it gets too heavy. Hope that makes sense...
