Infant Car Seat - Palatine,IL
I need an infant car seat that works well in a compact car. Small car drivers, what do you use? Are there any seats that only work well in larger vehicles?

I have two infant car seats but I'm not sure how well they will fit in a compact car. You may come take a look if interested. It is free to you if you like one of them. Email me at ____@____.com. S.

Britax seats are the best, but I would probably wait till you go to a convertable seat for that as the Graco Snugride is wonderfully rated and much cheaper than the Britax infant seat. You could go with a Britax convertible seat for a newborn...I think the Roundabout has a newborn-ish weight level, but you wouldn't have the seat with a handle to carry the baby around in. We had a Cavalier and we had the Snugride and it fit fine. We did have to put a towel underneath it to get a perfect fit. Whatever you choose, just call your local police station and have the safety seat tech check out your installation before you go to the hospital to have the baby. Just provides peace of mind that it is done right.
Good luck!

B.,
Try Britax seats. They are the best. If you go to a Right Start or other specialty store, they will help you get the seat in your car just to see if it will fit.
