Inexpensive Dvd"s

My son is now 18 months old and enjoys watching DVD's in the car and sometimes while he eats. I hate the idea of spending $10-$15 on each of these, especially when I am not sure if he will like them. Does anyone know where to get used or inexpensive DVD's. I bought the Baby Einstein at Costco on sale last year, so I don't need those.

What can I do next?

When did anyone ever think little babies should sit and watch tv??? Open the windows and doors, put some marvelous classical music on, let your little one learn to play by himself while you work and briefly interact with him. And, during mealtime, talk with him!

Since this child is the love of your life, treasure the time you work around him as he is playing on the floor with a few of his toys. It is really horrifying to me, sorry, that you want this kind of DVD help when you and your family, husband, neighborhood, library, sidewalks, ETC. can provide the stimulation he needs. It is a lifetime skill to be able to amuse oneself. Give him time to learn and practice that skill.

We used to check out DVD's at the library. They really do have a good selection, especially for children.

WE use blockbuster online. it is 18 per month and we get 3 movies at a time, however the monthly qty is unlimited. I can exchange up to 3 movie per month in the store, so if their is something I really want to see, I can simply exchange. Plus my kids love the variety of movies that we get in the mail, and I know which ones they really like so when the time comes, I buy it used at blockbuster, or FYI etc.

You can sometimes get lucky at yard sales. I recently bought 5 VHS tapes at Other Mothers and threw away 3 because they were broke.
There's a big store on 19 Ave & Northern Next to Sprouts, that takes in trades for books, Video games (nintendo wii, etc) and they have tons of childrens video's and books.
I just went to BlockBuster Video and bought 4 ( Previously viewed)DVD'S for $20
