Indusing Labor

Your time will come. Remember you first few post about it being too early? I know the last few weeks can be so hard, your tired, uncomfortable and if you are like I was, just done with the whole thing. But like the last poster said, take these last few weeks and try to injoy your time.
But if you are just set to get labor started I have heard that works. Ask your Dr. for ideas. If I remember right you have some other medical issues as well right? You dont want to do anything that will make those other issues become bigger at this time. Good Luck

sorry to tell you but castor oil dosen't work. we tired that with my fist kid to. but all it dose is give up the runs really bad.

Why would you want to induce labor like that?? I learned that wanting to rush things and not let nature take its course can be bad. My second child was in ICU because of coming to early. Just be patient and you will see her soon enough. Good Luck!!

Don't do it! It just makes you poop alot and you will be more uncomfortable than you are now! Have patients it will be worth the wait and your new baby will thank you too!

Its an old "wise tell" they say it will, but its nasty. I would'nt try it. Ask your doctor if they can induce you.

I have heard that it can, but can't say from experience. Are you wanting to induce labor now? My advice is to enjoy the last few weeks of feeling her move, kick and hicup inside you. (I really miss that :-{ ) And also your last chance to sleep in for a while. She will be here before you know it. Go get a pregnancy massage and get your nails and hair done. Seriously! I love being a mom, but you really do put everyone elses needs above your own once the baby comes. So pamper yourself now so when you are feeling "yukie" later you can remeber how good it felt to be pampered.

DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING without your doctor's approval! Castor Oil is an old remedy that mom's used when they're children were sick. Please always ask your doctor before trying something. If they want to induce your labor, they will do it safely. Don't try it on your own. Your baby depends on you and the choices you make. For your baby's health, this question should be directed to your OB/GYN.
