Hi Moms,

I am in need of help, I feel like a teenager breaking out, I cry at the drop of a hat, I have terrible periods and very irritable. I feel awful, Is there anyone out there who can empathize with me and tell me I will get through this, please help!

What can I do next?

Have you thought about balancing creams? I know that I use Arbonne's creams during certain times of the month and have recommended them to my mother for her hormone imbalance. She says she can tell a difference.

I offer 50% off all Arbonne products to Mamasource clients. I am not "pushing" the product, but didn't know if you had thought that route.

Good luck and let me know if you are interested in the cream, I can have it shipped to you in a few days.

Take care...

I agree with Lisa's response. Sometimes, you do need meds to help regulate your levels, and you may consider going to therapy to learn how to deal with your stresses.

Seems like your schedule could become very busy with work and kids and husband and just life, in general. lol So, just be sure to have a GNO (Girls Night Out) or make time for yourself (no kids or husband). Treat yourself to something you want or have been needing (hair style, massage, etc.). :)

All too often, we Moms feel the need to carry everyone else's load without giving any of ours to others. Take care of yourself, because you can't take care of anyone else if you're not taken care of!

HI A., try to stay away from prescriptions, specially Paxil, it is highly addictive. I agree with the previous responses, you should talk to your doctor.

My sister in law had terrible periods and it costed, literally, her first marriage (yes, sad but it's true). She had a second chance and found a wonderfull husband, and even she's not longer able to have babies, she's taking "the pill" everyday and it has changed the whole word for her, her periods come and go smooth and short. No more crissis for her and her family. The Dr. prescribed the kind of the lowest pg possible, and it's virtually safe and with no side effects.

Exercise make everything better as well, a lot of prayer, meditation and relax.

Blessings,

I know I have gone through this a LOT, (yes, as a teenager too). Being pregnant.nursing the past 2 years certainly hasn't helped either.

My Dr. put me on Paxil (several years ago), but I quit taking it b/c a friend convinced me it was "all in my head", and I had severe withdrawal symptoms.

Then, a good friend of min was on Effexor, and also had very severe withdrawal symptoms when she had to stop taking it.

Basically, see your health care professional, sometimes medicine is needed to help regulate your seratonin levels, and other times, these feelings can be treated through talking it out, excersize, diet changes, meditation...

As for the periods, that's what you would have to talk to the Dr. about. I know it's not fun, but you can pull through it!

I don't know how old you are but call your Dr. and get a blood test. Sometimes you can learn a lot through that. I had some problems a few years ago and ended up with a complete hysterectomy which was the absolute BEST thing I ever did.

I realize my surgery (and HRT) is not best for everyone but in the last 5 years, I have felt better, been healthier, high sex drive, my boobs even grew 3 cup sizes (yes naturally, no plastic)!! NOTHING negative for me... no weight gain (other than boobs), I am still 5'5" at 115 lbs size 2. I just slap on that HRT patch about twice a week. I'm loving it. I feel like a new person! I am 45.
