In Need of XL Maternity Clothes

To my surprise I am expecting a second child. I dont have the money to go crazy and buy new maternity clothes all over again so I am looking for some suggestions on where to buy second hand maternity clothes for the winter.

Hi P. -

I have always had good luck at ROSS. Their shirts average $5 -$8. Their pants are like $14 but there is not a great selection of these. For second hand maternity clothes some baby resale and consignment shops carry maternity clothes. I would tell you to check out Goodwill too. They do not have a separate section for maternity; the clothes are just mixed in. However, if you have time to look this is probably your cheapest bet.

Burlington Coat Factory has a decently priced maternity section with a good clearance. My mother went there and purchased a denim maternity skirt for $7.99.

I would suggest looking at www.thebabychain.com where mothers donate baby/maternity clothes & goods to other moms. I have never personally used it but know of the site.

Check craigslist. I went on craigslist looking for maternity clothes. There are tons of people looking to sell their clothes. I even saw some postings where people were selling all of their clothes for only $100.

JcPenney very reasonable maternity section on-line and in their catalog.
Try cotton closet in allen and kidtokid/once upon a child they carry maternity clothes too
google your city/local area maternity consignment too

Not sure about second hand - but I got a lot of my maternity clothes at JCPenney and Target. Most of my Target stuff I got on clearance and it was really cheap - and the Liz Lange stuff is really cute - and it held up well. Good luck!

Hi. It has been a lot time since I wore maternity clothes but I had the best luck getting amazing deals at Sears. They had so much marked down for almost nothing. Try there.
