In Need of Childcare Immediately
Can someone please help me? My daughter had nightmares all night last night and when my husband dropped her off at her current daycare, he had a very unfortunate experience with her provider. She also made it clear she did not want to go to daycare today. Add all the issues we have had in the past and we are desperate to find a new place immediately. I am looking in the New Brighton, Roseville area. Please help.

Hello M.,
I live in Mounds View and bring my son to a daycare in Columbia Heights. We had several bad experiences and these people saved us.
It's not too far away and they are wonderful people. It's called David's Christian Learning Center - it's a non-profit run by the church it's located in, St.Mathew's Luthern Church.
It is priced like most others and the staff is incredible. Religious affiliation is not a requirement.

Wow, that's unfortunate. I have openings at my daycare but I live in St. Paul. If for any reason you come this way for work you may call me at ###-###-####. I have great references. Small in-home daycare, great big private backyard. Structured with arts and crafts, music and reading and playing too.
Thanks

Check craigslist.com in the childcare section (be sure you're in the minneapolis craigslist). You can either post about what you're looking for or respond to other people's posts. Good luck!

Moria,
I would check the website www.daycare.com. You can do a search using your zipcode to find places near you. I am on there for my preschool that I run, it is a great site.
Good luck J.
