In Need of a Home

My kids an I are looking for a home, we would prefer a 2 or 3 bdrm in the dallas area. We lost our home, and have been staying in a hotel. I have been searching online for homes but have not been successful. I work full time and I am really busy at work so it is hard for me to search while at work. And once I get home I am really busy with the kids, so if any moms out there could please give me a hand in finding a home, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

What can I do next?

My husband grew up in this neighborhood and his parent still live there. The elementary school is great!

Hello Vernoica,

I am the owner of Get Organized! a Professional Organizing Company. We not only organize homes but we coach families on helping them run everything about their home. Paper clutter, kids chores, allowance systems, meal planning, and so much more.

I work with a realtor and a loan company that offers their cients 6 free hours each of our time. That's a total of 12 hours we you close with them... that you get FREE for unpacking, staging your home, or organizing any thing in your new home.

Just wanted to mention that if you were interested. You can visit our website at www.GetOrganized.ws and on the home page is both their information.

Thank you,

Hi V.,
I may have taken your statement "we lost our home" out of context and if so, please forgive me. If you've had a foreclosure, the possibility of buying again right now is not available using traditional mortgage financing. Even if you didn't have a foreclosure, I can still help...

I am a licensed mortgage broker, but that only scratches the surface of what I do. My husband and I assist those who are struggling with their home or living arrangement. It is truly a period of grief and I will personally assist you in the traumatic time you are going through, as I have for thousands of others. Our services are free to you! We have a huge network of sellers, landlords, lease to purchase owners, etc. all throughout the greater DFW area. If you are interested, please email me at ____@____.com , ###-###-####.

Warmest regards,
C.

Have you tried Craig's list. Maybe more listings there since it is free. I found my place by driving thru the area I wanted to live in. My landlord never runs ads. He only puts a sign in the yard.

Home you find a wonderful home soon!

If you could edit your info. to include more detail it would be helpful for mamas to help you. We need to know how much you are able to spend monthly (could be about 25% of your monthly income.) What size of home are you needing? Are you wanting to buy or rent? What part of Dallas (ie. near the airport, East Dallas, North Dallas, or is there an option of a city just outside of Dallas?) How did you lose your home (forclosure?) All this is stuff we have to know in order to help...there's a bunch of homes out there for sale, but there is a HUGE price range and assortment to choose from. take care!!

May I suggest that you call my friend/realtor??? His name is Brian Prosise and his number is ###-###-####. Please let him know that you heard of him from T.. He is very easy to work with and more than likely you won't have to pay anything from your pocket. I am actually moving this weekend and he is getting paid by the owner (not me). It is always worth trying.

Hey, V....

What area of Dallas? I have a friend that's selling their home, and there are some in my neighborhood. Not sure what your price range is or what part of Dallas you're looking in but thought I'd ask. Best wishes, and I hope you find something soon.

If you are looking to rent a home, there are property management companies that offer this service for free. I have several I do carpet cleaning for in the Arlington area. If this is what you are looking for, let me know via email and I'll give you several to call. They may know of someone in Dallas they can refer you to. The homeowners hire these companies to get the house in shape, find renters (they qualify them), and collect rent. The property managers charge the homeowners a fee, so it's free to you. They will give you a list, and schedule a time for you to go check out the property. Good luck to you! I'm sorry about your situation.

Hi V.- I am not sure how big of a home you are looking for but me and my husband have been discussing selling our home. It is not a big home, but very comfortable and economical. It is a 2 bedroom with master suites on both bathrooms and has a very open floor plan. If you are possibly interested, please call me at ###-###-####.

Hello! My husband and I are about to list our house. We have a 3bed/2.5bath 2100 sq foot in East Dallas, about 1.5 miles east of White Rock.
