In Need of a Good Skin Care Product for Adult

I've had to combat acne throughout my teen years, 20's, and now that I'm in my mid-30's, I'm still trying to get rid of them (along with fine lines and sunspots). My skin is sensitive. It can be oily or dry depending on the day. And it gets worse during my period Any of you have tried a product that is great, and doesn't dry up my skin too much?

Shaklee Enfuselle! No more acne, cleared up the acne scars, no wrinkles, no dry skin! I have used it since it came out 15 or so years ago. I still get carded, when in truth my daughter and her husband will make me a grandma in July.

I see that you've had many responses. I have been using the line from acne.org (I tried Proactiv-did not work). It's really the only thing that has worked for me. I have dry sensitive skin, too, and these products are not harsh. The set also lasts about 6 months and is very affordable.
Good luck!

Hi J.,
I also have sensitive and tend to have mild acne breakouts when I'm pregnant. I have used Dermalogica 15 or more years with great results. You can buy it at Ulta and also at a few different spas around Dallas. They have a few different types of cleansers but I would recommend you start with the AntiBac (not harsh at all) and active moist lotion. They have all kinds of creams to choose from. Good luck.

Hi J.,
Enfuselle is a skin care line from Shaklee. These products are so awesome and have 8 patents on them. They are vitamins for the skin. In three days, I could count the wrinkles that were gone from my skin (I took a "before" photo or I would have believed it.) I didn't have acne but some blemishes. Those and my redish areas were also cleared up in less than a month. My skin was so soft and hydrated.
These products are 100% guaranteed for satisfaction or your money back. You can check them out at http://www.shaklee.net/healthforlife
Let me know if you want a sample.

Hello J.!

I saw a few people mention Arbonne. I wanted to give you a little more information on it.

All of Arbonne's products are:
Ph Correct (correct the acid mantle - first line of defense against toxins, germs, etc)

Dermatologist tested (tested under the supervision of an independent dermatologist)

Botanically based (uses herbs and botanicals as the basis of formulation)

Never tested on animals (no need to none of our ingredients are harmful to humans)

Vegan certified (contains no animal products or by-products)

No Mineral Oil (Cheap filler with no benefit)

Hypoallergenic (don't use harsh chemicals or fragrances known to cause allergic reactions - we test to a 0% rating as opposed to the 4% that is recommended)

The anti-aging line has nanosphere technology which detects whats wrong with your skin (if it's dry gives you moisture if it's oily it will absorb oil.)

I use the anti-aging line everyday and absolutely love it. If you'd like before and after pics please let me know I will email them to you. If you'd like a sample please let me know, we can either get together for a facial or I can send you a sample.

I hope this info helps.

Take care and God bless!

M.

The Burt's Bees product line has been a life saver for me. I'm in my 40's and had an acne breakout recently. It's been over 15 years since the last one...They have an acne product I am using and it's working as well as moisturizers that will match your 'day'.

I have used Clinique products since I was about 11 yrs old. I am now 48 and I pass for early 30's.

They have great quality products, also recommended by top notch dermatologists. Also, if you purchase a product and you don't like it...they will take it back. I personally prefer to work with a Clinique rep at the higher end department stores. These reps work for Clinique and they know the products very well and can help you find what is best for you.

My 14 yr old daughter has used Clinique since she was about 10. Since she is a teen, to be proactive and prevent blemishes she uses the Acne wash and the gel moisturizer.

I use the Repairwear series of products now and I love them.

We are both very diligent with our skin care and we never go to bed without a good cleasne and moisturizers.

We both have good skin and I do attribute it to our habits and Clinique.

If you need a top notch dermatologist....Dr. Allen Menter and his team located at downtown Baylor are fantastic. They have a website www.texasderm.com Dr. Menter and his PA's are highly regarded in the industry, the dont' push other products and they do a great job.

Good luck.

I second the mom who said Clinique is a great product. I have used it since I was a teenager and love it.
