I need to switch ob/gyn fast!! I'm already 4 months and do not like my current doc at all!!! I am in Joliet area but willing to travel a little bit!!!!! Please advise!!!

If you are open to Midwife, I absolutely LOVED Catherine Craig who is at Silver Cross in Joliet. She works with OB in case needed, and she was amazing for my last two births.....great lady, and if I every have another one, she's the one for me! I had two other ladies in the area recommend her to me, and I am SO glad I followed their advice!

Woman's Center for Health. They have a location in Bolingbrook and in Naperville. Their number is ###-###-####. Give them a call and explain the situation and see if they are willing to take you. They delivered my 2 children at Edwards and are great.
Depending on your insurance I have two suggestions. I went to Glenwood Medical in Orland Park (Dr Bray, Brusca & Marr). I loved the office and they deliver at Palos Hospital. Currently I have public aid, so I'm seeing the doctors of Women's Healthcare of Illinois in Evergreen Park ###-###-#### (they take new patients if you're pregnant). I haven't delivered yet, but I'm 28 weeks and I like the office staff so far. They deliver at Christ Hospital.
I also suggest going on the hospitals' websites and searching under the doctors for obgyns that deliver there and then google the doctor's names to see if anyone is making comments about them. Good Luck!

I would travel to Willowbrook to the Midwives at West Suburban Women's Health. I have gone and so have a number of my friends and we are extremely happy there. 630-654-baby.
