In a Hurry for Birthday Ideas for 6 Year Old Daughter

I agree with scrapping the American Doll Bistro idea since the girls don't have dolls. They'll just be begging for them and that will be frustrating. I like the ideas others have given you. Someone mentioned Libby Lu, but I think that has gone out of business. One idea I had that is not too traditional would be in Colleyville. You could take all of the girls to Portrait Innovations and get a group photo done. A huge package (if you stick to one pose) is sold for $10. They process while you wait. So, while you wait, you walk across the parking lot to Celebrity Bakery. You can have a girly lunch, get everyone those cute decorated cookies and then walk back to pick up your photos - an instant party favor.
By the way, Portrait Innovations does take walk ins, but it would be best to get an appointment. They only book out a few weeks in advance, so I am guessing they could squeeze you in.

There is a place on downtown grapevine called Let's Pretend. A tea party place. I don't know if 6 year old girls are into that, but just an idea.

Just fyi if you decide to stick with AG. They have a huge selection of dolls at the restaurant for girls who don't bring their own. The girls get to choose a doll they'd like to eat with. They put a doll chair at the table for each doll too. We went there for my daughter's 6th birthday and really enjoyed it.

The old town area on Main Street in Grapevine has a cute little tea party shop for girls' Bdays! A completely different type of thing is The Magic Time Machine, which I think is in Addison. Or you could do The Rain Forest Cafe in Grapevine Mills Mall, and then if you wanted to add on, you could do Build a Bear. Or another option, is Justice for Girls in Southlake does Bday parties. So many options!

There's a cute place in Southlake called Sweet and Sassy that does little girl makeovers and such. Their "Perfect Princess" party might be just the thing for your little one. They have lots of options, including a runway for other types of parties. It's styled and dedicated to little girls only. Similar to Libby Lou, which might also be a great place. Although my 12 year old daughter is outgrowing it (or has she already?) she has loved it for a few years.

Go to either Girlie Girl in Keller or Sweet and Sassy in Southlake and have them have their hair glammed up and their nails and toes done and walk the runway.

Maybe they can give you a special for brininging in a few girls.

Why don't you schedule a tea for those 5 girls at Let's Pretend in Grapevine? Or go to a movie and ice cream? Jump Zone is fun too!
