I'm Searching for Nice Bunk Beds

I have a 2 and 4 year old and they have their own room, but I am wanting to bunk them. Can anyone suggest a good store I can look t that sells nice bunk beds, but not at "boutique" prices. I am more into traditonal, sturdy, nice looking pieces.

What can I do next?

Bombay kids is wonderful if your looking to buy now! They are bankrupt and closing there doors friday. everything is 50-70% off and i just picked up some really cute things origionally 800 for 279. Good luck in your search

I am in the same situation as you. I have 2 boys one 3 and the other just turned 1. It is too soon to bunk them together but that is my plan in another year or so, once the younger one is out of the crib. I have been looking though and I saw a nice set of bunk beds at USA Baby for around $800.00. It looked very sturdy and safe with the bunky boards for the top and bottom (to keep the little ones from falling out!)Hope that helps and best of luck with number 3!!

We just got our girls an inexpensive but good bunk bed at IKEA. It's very simple, but not bad.
Note: Prepare to assemble!!!!

A. - R. B here. I just went to Costco today and they had a set of bunk beds there. They were a dark chocolate color and seemed very sturdy. I gave them a hard shake and they seemed great. If you don't have a Costco card and still want to look at them you can tell the person at the front door you want to check out the store and they will let you in. If you don't want to buy the 50 dollar membership you are welcome to use my card. Anyway, I am going to get the dresser for my boys and I saw the beds and wanted to tell you.

FYI. Karen M has bunk beds and they have served her well. One negative is that it a pain to change the sheets. She told me not to get BBeds because of that. Love, RB

Try Rooms to Go Kids. They have some really nice ones that are more traditional and sturdy. The prices aren't too bad either. If you are in the Austin area they are by Lakeline Mall across the parking lot from the "adult" Rooms to Go store.
