I'm Looking for a Fabric Store in the Henderson Seven Hills Neighborhood.

I have a need for thread (and needles) in colors other than black and white...it seems
that they are packed somewhere in that mess in the garage....and of course buttons are comming off in record numbers. Help...I know it's not the end of the world...I just hate using safty pens...we all know that those little things seem to have a mind of their own and pop open any way.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Diane, Caren, and Carla Thank You!!! Happy Mothers Day!!! I've been to walmart yesterday...found almost everything...thankxs again. Carla I'm going to try Heddy's next and thanxs for the link...I'm not that computer literate...which not every one understands...I've just upset my eldest son with my inablity to use the spell check...oopps.

I think I'm going to love this site...thank you who ever thought of it!!

Hi P.,
Are you looking for a specialty shop or just the basics? The others have mentioned the stores I would suggest for the basics, but if you are looking for specialties, go to Heddy's.

Wal-mart is always open and has a fabric/notions/craft section. They are located on Serene between Eastern and Spencer. There is also a Hancock Fabric store on Silverado Ranch Blvd in the Smith's Shopping Center.

There is a Joann's in Henderson on Marks Street. It's near the Galleria Mall. They have a very big sewing section. I was able to get what I needed for my son's Halloween costume there. Also, the Walmart on Serene (between Eastern and Spencer) has a good sewing section, as well. The fabric choices are more limited than Joann's, though. I live very close by (near where the big fire was yesterday). If you need to know where anything else is, just ask!
