Ideas Needed for an 8 Year Old's Birthday Girl's Party Please....
Hello all. Everyone here seems to have some really creative ideas so I thought I would see if ya'll have any ideas for this. I am in the process of planning a birthday party for my dtr who will be 8. I am planning on having it at this place that has this huge outdoor playground and will have use of a party room indoors for the cake and gifts. My worry though is the weather. If the weather is bad, we are going to have to remain indoors for the entire time and I need to come up with some cool, fun, creative, simple indoor games for them all to do. I am hoping the weather will be nice because It would be so much easier and more fun for them to play on the playground but just in case it's not, I need some ideas please. In case you are wondering about the theme. She is wanting to do Hello Kitty. The games don't have to be designed as such but it would be cute. This is for 1st graders, not 2nd graders btw. Thanks for all your ideas in advance!

I love a craft project- you can get kits at Hobby Lobby or Michaels or sometimes even Wal-mart to make jewelry, foam sun-visors, door hangers, even flip-flops. They are usually not to espenseive either and the kit will ussually be enough for 6-12 depending on the kit. The cool thing is this then also covers your favor because they have something cool they made to take home :)

We had Scribble Cakes come out and do cake decorating. I saw a picture of some children creating Hello Kitty cupcakes on their Facebook page. I'm pretty sure I saw the same picture on their website. www.scribblecakes.com

Pin the bow on the kitty. LOL that's what first came to my head.
I do plan parties if you decide you would like some outside help (even if it's simply sending out invites). I'm not sure if you're looking for anyone, but I wanted to lay it out there if you decide you would like help with anything -- as little or as much as you might need. I bet it will be great!
