P., some ideas would be ... Dinner, Movie, Coffee 'break', ScrapBooking, Spa Night, Craft or Jewelry Making Night, Bowling, Karaoke, Wine Tasting, Game Night @ a members home, Club/Bar, etc....

We've had tried all of the above with our playgroup mommies and all seemed to go over well :)

Good Luck with it!!!

Hi P.!
I belong to a playgroup and we have done a number of mom's night out events. We have done dinners, movie, scrapbooking, support groups and spa nights. Maybe you can do a shopping night out, coffee time at a coffee house so you can all chat, wine tastings.
Have fun and good luck!
K. :~)

Louie's chophouse in Shorewood has a nice bar where you can have a lovely dinner and martinis =)
This last weekend a couple of friends and i went to downtown naperville and had dinner at heaven on seven (louisiana food) and then the the comdey shrine for an improv show. it was a blast! there are SEVERAL different restaurants in naperville (downtown) that would be a great time. There are seafood rest's, steakhouses, etc.
have fun!

How about a spa night? Check out Universal Spa Training academy in Westmont- about thirty minutes from Aurora. They have ladies night the second Tuesday of the month where they partner with the wine store upstairs for wine tasting, manicures, massages and facials. They also have clinical nights where you can customize a spa party. All work done by qualified students, so it is very affordable! check out their webpage or call ###-###-####.

Bath and body works does home parties?

Rock climbing, bowling, I remeber seeing an ad for a Bead Lady to come to your house to make something with beads...there is an article about things to plan for girls night out in the Dec. issue of Parents.
dance class, yoga, ice skating...good luck

A group of friends just recently met at a local pottery painting place for the evening. We all brought a little food and drink to share and had a great time!

Another place to meet after dinner to chat is one of those chocolate cafes like Ethel's or Moonstruck Chocolate.

Have fun!
