Hi mom's,
Pls let me know the most unique baby shower gift you've received, seen or heard about. I am going to a baby shower in a week for a new mom who's got it all, seen it all and done it all! They don't want to know the sex of the baby so I am at a loss. Girl things are easy! I'd love any input for somethng fun, interesting or new! Earth friendly even!
Thank you so much!
N.

Hi N.! I make custom wipes cases....I just get a regular wipes case and cover it in whatever fabric you would chose and put trim around it...I can add ribbons, embellisments, bows, rhinestones, etc. Let me know if you are interested and I'll send you a few pics. They are $25-$30. My friends have LOVED them! Very unique and different! My email is ____@____.com
or just send me a message!

I love the idea about signing up for meals! Also, diaper service if using cloth - boxes of diapers if not as no one ever has enough of those - gift cert to a Mommy and Me workout - gift cert for a massage for Mommy....just some random thoughts this morning....

I attended a baby shower for a friend expecting her 5th child. Instead of gifts, we passed around a calendar and everyone signed up to bring a meal for her family. The baby was due around Christmas time and she still talks about how that was the best Christmas ever.

Maybe a baby charm for a charm bracelet for the mom?

Maybe photo session for the new baby? Or someone to document the labor with pictures.

Or a new baby carrier like a Beco, or an Angelpack or a babyhawk....

How about a prenatal massage? A Session with a lactation consultant? Or maybe a postpartum doula?

As a mom of 5. I say that you can never have enough diapers and wipes. Not creative, but practical. You could also give her a gift set of pampering items for her. One time I received a trip to a spa from my friends.

Hi N.!
I make all sorts of custom Baby Gifts! The most unique I make is a "baby mommy bath towel". It is a towel that you wear while giving the baby a bath (think warm apron), then you snuggle your little wet baby and wrap the towel around him/her. It has a velcro neck so you can give it a tug and place baby in crib with ease!
I also create fabric touch and feel books, minkey security blankets and lots of cute "dress onesies"!!

I would love to make something special for you and make you the "hit of the shower"!!!

N. - I often give ribbon gift cards. I have received great feedback and others asked me where I got them so I've been sharing the website with others.

They come with a catalog and about 30-40 items the customer goes online and chooses from. The catalogs are nice and the customer can browse the catalog and online to decide what they want. They have different price points and events - baby, wedding, ghirardelli, pampering, etc.

The shipping is free so the recipient pays nothing and they don't end up getting a $50 gift card and then having to spend $30 of their own dollars to get what they want. The recipient chooses their gift and that is all they get.

Just so you know, I do get points when other order them.

People also appreciate good classic childrens books. I don't think you can go wrong with some of those. Good luck.
