I Want to Learn to Knitt.

Hi! I was wondering if there was any local knitting groups or classes out there. I thought it would be something fun for me and my daughter to do together. I live in the Clearlake area. If anyone knows of anything please let me know. Thanks

I am not sure where you are located but there are several yarn shops that teaching knitting in the Friendswood area. Is that near you?

Try Michaels or Garden Ridge. they have classes in all kind of crafts including cake decorating, drawing and painting. Michaels, if didn't know, is inbetween Old navy and Barnes and Noble

I read an article about a lady in Friendswood who is 80 years plus and teaches knitting. She is located on Friendwood Drive, but I can't recall her name or her business. The chamber of Commerce in Friendswood should know.

The name of the yarn shop is Friendswood is Marie's Yarn shop. My daughter took a few lessons from her and loved it.
