I Need Some Good Advice on Diapers...

My son is 15 months old and has worn pampers since the day he was born. He wakes up soaking wet every morning. We use the Pampers Baby Dry, and they keep him dry during the day, but by the time he wakes up in the morning he's a soggy wet mess. It's so gross, and I'm washing his sheets EVERYDAY. He weighs 30 pounds and is in a size 5 in pampers. Can anyone suggest a different diaper? He is still too young for the Goodnite Pull-ups(or at least I thought so), so I just don't know where to go from here. Can anyone suggest a overnight diaper? Thanks in advance!

What can I do next?

YA'll are the BEST!! Thanks sooooooooooooooooooooooo much!! I have degenerative disc disease, sciatica, and ruptured discs, so it's NOT fun changing sheets daily. It's hard enough lifting his healthy butt outta bed!! I can't thank you all enough! Shopping is the worst for me, so now I know exactly what to try and I get can make ONE stop!

I have 2 daughters (both are grown now) when they were babies one of them wore Pampers and one wore Huggies. Pampers worked great on one, didnt fit the other. The same with Huggies, it may be the same with you, the diapers just dont fit every child the same
good Luck

My cousin had this problem with her son. The only diapers she found to work were Luvs! Maybe try and see...hope it works better for you! C.

Hi H.,
I had the same problem with my daughter. I used Luvs. Believe it or not they really worked. You may also want to try a diaper and then a pull-up over top. And maybe limit the amount of liquid before bed.
Hope this helps.

We had this problem with our son. Either move to a size 6 or better yet, Huggies Good Nights are extra absorbant.

Ok I have 3 sons and I only use hugges for my boys and for the twins I put them in a size diaper up from the size they are in and they are never soaked any more try that it should work AS for over night diaper they work to my older son wear them up until he was 3 the he stop and he had no accidents
it work great

I went thru the same thing with my son. No diaper worked. We actually had to cut off his drinking by 7:30 pm at the latest. This way he didn't drink any more fluids and didn't see to wet as much during the night. I hope that you find a diaper but nothing worked for me except cutting his fluid intake, might give that a try too.
Good Luck :)

Huggies makes a good overnight diaper. However, they are not available at all stores. I can only ever find them at Wal-Mart. They're in a purple package. I also found a product at Toys'R'Us called Diaper doublers. It's like a pad it just inserts in the diaper and gives it more absorbancy. Hope this helps

Huggies has an overnight brand. My son is 19months old and that is what I use on him. He wears a size 5. You can get them at Walmart.

I had the same problem with my daughter. I use huggies overnight size 4 diapers with her and they work great. I've only had a few occasions where she has soaked through one. I believe they make the diapers in size 5 as well. FYI-the only place I have been able to find them is at Target. Good luck, H.

Make sure the diapers aren't too small. If they aren't, try LUVS. Both are made by P&G, but I have found LUVS to be more absorbent. Huggies also makes a night-time diaper for babies that is more absorbent. I haven't used them in a couple of years, but I know they still make them.
