It sounds like what I had at 28 weeks. And it was that my pelvis was out of alignment. My right hip was up and shifted. The Chiro helped and I took easy with carrying my toddler. At 37 weeks I am fine!

I am a former OB-GYN RN, , but I would never think of "diagnosing" your condition! That is not for forum members to do. It could be symptoms of a gallbladder problem, early labor signs, or a bladder infection, etc., any of which would need immediate professional advice and care. If your doctor is not available, go to the Emergency Room and they can sort it out and give you the proper treatment. I would suggest you call your doctor anytime you have health questions, and especially during pregnancy! My own daughter just gave birth to a healthy 5-week-premature boy, and I wish you the same good luck in case you are in early labor.

If you haven't gone or call your doctor go now.
It may just be the pressure from your baby, but you can never risk it. Call your doc. and go to the hospital if you need to.
Good Luck and Congrats!!

It sounds like your baby might have moved down into position or is engaged if this is your first baby. When my first baby engaged (a little later maybe 37-38 wks) it was really uncomfortable to walk and I had to sleep w/ a bunch of pillows on all sides to stay propped up. I also had an episode of constipation that gave me back pain (just wanted to throw that out there just in case). I would definitely call your doctor asap just to be sure. Don't be worried about bothering them. Trust me, I called for lesser things and they get worried moms calling them all the time at all hours and if you have a good doctor they will say they are glad you called. I just googled this you might want to check this too:

I'm 32 weeks pregnant as well.
Wow, I have had a Wild Ride with this pregnancy.
Is your due date Nov. 24 or that week?
I'm going to be induced on the 17th.

I have been having pain as well and my Dr. Said it could be that the baby is on a nerve or it's the Braxton Hicks contractions.
I'm sure my pain is the Braxton hicks contractions.
My Dr. said when you feel the pain start to drink two very large cups of cold water and lay down and rest.
I was like " WHAT ~ Rest "!
I already have three kids and a husband and house to take care of. And I homeschool my children.
REST ~ yea right.

Go and talk to your Dr. Get checked. I'm sure your fine.
Congrat's to you and your family.
I wish you the best with your labor and delivery.

Call Your OB/Gyn and let them evaluate. Some pain may be normal, but severe pain -- better safe than sorry. Call MD.

the baby may be just growing and moving in a position that is putting more pressure on your pelvis and nerves in your back, regardless you probably need to call your Dr. and share this and let them decide. You certainly don't want to jeopardize your or your baby's health.

Call your Dr immediately if you have any severe pain while pregnant. If the Dr does not call back in 15 minutes call again. Never, ever worry about bothering your Dr or being a pain in the neck. Always, always call if you are ever concerned.

I stress this strongly because my own hesitation to seek help led to me delivering my preemie at home alone. I'd hate to see anyone else experience something like that. (Not that I think you are necessarily in preterm labor--I'm just saying that you should call right away and call again if needed).

I would call your OB. Chances are the baby is sitting on a nerve making
you miserable. Gotta just love these little ones, they start making us
crazy even before they arrive LOL. Hope you feel better soon. Make
sure you check with doc.

I would check ith your doctor but in my case it was called back labor. I had it for almost two months before I gave birth and it was incredably uncomfortable. My heating pad was my best friend..... try to get as much sleep as possible...

Dear A., Check with your doctor. You may be further along than you think and the baby may be going into the canal or pressing on a nerve. My best wishes, Grandma Mary
