I Need a Way to Reuse My Old Metal Fish Tank Stand

I know that there has to be something useful out there that I can do with this stand, but I am drawing a blank. It is one of the old heavy metal stands. We no longer have the aquarium, but I am not ready to part with the stand. Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

What about a plant stand? Maybe you could find a basket that fits in the frame? You could paint it a bright color and have plants that send long tendrils down creeping down the side :) Props for reusing something instead of just trashing it!! If you can't find a good use now, save it for another day :)

Have a piece of glass cut the size of the bottom of the fish tank. Make sure you go to a glass store that finishes the sides like a table top. Then you have and end table, shelf, what ever you want to use it for.

Yup marble or granite would look great too, just a bit more expensive. What doesn't look good is finished wood. It just looks like you finished a piece of wood and put it on top of a fish tank stand. For some reason the other surfaces look normal.

Or what Jo W said using a piece of marble or granite instead.

Use your imagintation. Drape something over it. Use it for plants. I'm sure it's uses are endless if you really put your mind to it.
