I Need a GOOD Haircut That Won't Break My Bank in the Renton/Kent Area

I need a really good hair cut. I went to one place and she did a great job, but it cost me $50 for the hair cut. I cannot afford that much each time. Does any one know of a good salon or stylist that doesn't charge over $30 for a haircut? I'm tired of going to places like Supercuts and getting terrible cuts, but I cannot afford $50 either. My hair is shorter style so needs to be cut about every 8 weeks. Any suggestions would be great!

What can I do next?

Thanks to everyone who offered up their best haircut places to go. I found a place near my house and I really liked Jenny and she did a great job on my hair, for a resonable price and she has evening appointments! Nothing makes you feel better then when you feel like you look good! :) Thanks again!

Elegance Hair at 13003 SE Kent Kangley Road in Kent, telephone number ###-###-#### is very reasonable & the girls give the best cuts that I have had since moving to the area 2 years ago.

I have always been a Gene Juarez person, however, I FINALLY decided to break away to my Mother-in-Law's hair stylist. She is in Normandy Park by the Dino's Restaurant. Her name is Kim and she works out of the salon Impressions. I don't want to publish her number publicly, but if you contact me, I'd be happy to give it to you. I am very, very, very picky about my hair and she only charges $30 and did an absolutely AWESOME job on my hair!

Hair We Are in Renton off of Burnett Ave and the train station. It is about $30. I've been going for 30 years. Tell them I sent you.

Haircut A.?

You know what?!?!? I've been to the Gene Juarez Academy and got a haircut for a reasonable price. It's been a while since I've been there. From what I've seen, the students are being taught how to cut hair for a high end salon, so, they are being taught great techniques. The price is reasonable too. You should call out there. They are located in Federal Way; out by Walmart. Remember, they are students, so the haircut MAY take a while, but the price is worth it all. Besides, you get to relax for a little bit. Did I mention that the price should be way under $30.00?!. Call them, varify and make your appointment. You just never know.....you just may like the student right away and you might want to exchange phone numbers. With me....I hate to change cosmetologists. I like to stay with the same person for a while.

Good luck to you A..

I go to the HairMasters in Maple Valley (4 corners next to Safeway). I usually see Kaylee (young but outstanding) (spelled her name wrong) or Jolene. They both do amazing jobs on my cuts, colors etc.!! Best part..you don't pay $50 for a haircut. Hope this helps.

There is a Master Cuts in Factoria Mall. Ask for Claudia. She is the BEST stylist I've ever had. Now with that said she is the ONLY person I will let cut my hair there. She is from Jamaica and has been cutting hair for 20+ years. I can get my shoulder length hair cut and fully foiled with two colors for around $90. A hair cut and wash is $20ish. Call ahead and make sure that she's there. She usually takes Sunday and Monday off. The only down side of going there is that she does not take appts. But if you call ahead and find out when she starts and are there at that time--you'll have no trouble. She is worth it.

Good Luck!
