I Need a General Practitioner in Oak Park, River Forest or Forest Park

You ladies have been so helpful to me in the past. I am in need of a good old GP! I have only seen my OB for the last four years since I have been pregnant for most of that time ... We live in Forest Park and my kids see Dr. Turk at Pedios (thanks to you ladies!).

I need someone laid back and willing to try some non traditional methods, but I still want a Dr.

Suggestions??

What can I do next?

Another vote for Dr. Uchitelle and Dr. Locke. They are both great and incredibly laid back. They give you your options but aren't at all pushy or judgemental. I take both my kids there and we really like them.

I've been very happy with Lake Street Family Physicians in Oak Park. I see Dr. Marian Sassetti (female) and my husband recently began seeing Dr. Kungl (male) in the same practice. Dr. Sassetti also does my annual pap exam. I don't know about their attitudes about non-traditional treatments since it hasn't really come up, but Dr. Sassetti is great about taking time to talk and answer questions, and I never have to wait a long time to be seen.

Our whole family sees Dr. Craigen (1011 W. Lake Street, Ste 300, ph: ###-###-####). She's WONDERFUL -- great attitude, very laid back, easy to talk to.

I love my practice. They are Allan Muehrcke, Karen Weinstein and Brett Hampson.

Dr Martin Kittaka. On York and Schiller road. ###-###-####. He's still young enough that he's up-on everything new out there. I've had him for 20 years. He's compassionate and to the point. He's a super dr. and cares tremendously for his patients. Elmhurst Hospital is one of the top in the state, 2 blocks from his office. Tell him G. Hornbaker couldn't say enough about him. He's great.
