I Have to say..what Did You Do Today?
If today was the last day I get to spend here on earth...It was a pretty good day....My internet has been only working on and off today...So, it was like god giving me ''the day off'' from working at home...So I played outside with my kids, hard.
We took shaving cream and sprayed it all over our little tykes structure, Then we painted, pretended to ''ice'' a cake...and had a shaving cream fight. Then to clean up I got out old glory...The hose in the front yard and sprayed them all clean...
They now are covered in finger paints, layed out on the front drive way painting the day away!!
Really good day...
So how are we doing out there??
So What Happened?™
72 degrees Is what my thingy says!!!! Hottest day we have had since last summer!!! So, it felt like it was a nice heat wave...My face is bright red...and I love it!

You sound like a blast!!! What a great idea with the shaving cream. I had
my grandbabies today. Just love every moment with them. Spent special
time with the oldest, 3yo. Papa spent time with the little guy 11 months old,
who adores his PAPA. Then we all played outside. Can't wait until it gets
warmer so I can break out the water guns and other water toys!

Wow, I am jealous, it sounds like it has been a really great day for a few of you!
Today was an ok day... I do have work today but I did get in a few minutes on the treadmill (have had a rough time wanting to work out this week, so I am proud of myself for doing that today), also made giant chocolate chip cookies with the kids. Yesterday was a good one though... made coffee slurpees in the ice cream machine (soooo goood), had my 2 fave people over for an arts and crafts day and worked on a painting. My house is clean and the kids are being really good, so not too shabby. And tomorrow we are planning to go to the zoo (provided the world does not end :)! )

I had a pretty bad start to my day but now as I sit here typing, I have to admit it's not too shabby.
I saw and spent time with my amazing Mom, and Sister. We all got to play and laugh with my son. I brought my Sister back with me home, and we put my son down for sleep. Now we are watching How I Met Your Mother. One of the greatest shows ever haha. Also waiting for my husband to arrive home so we can have fun.
Today started out pretty horrible, not going to lie, but I am hoping it only gets better from here. And hopefully and probably will after this Frozen Strawberry-Mango Lemonade Margarita we are about to enjoy ;)
Just want to say that I LOVE all my dear friends and family out there, and all you ladies as well! Hope that everyone can find some enjoyment in their day today whether it be big or small!

Today wasn't horrible, but my son did have a whining marathon. Too bad no one sponsored him financially for this, as we would've cleaned up big time! It's amazing how you can plan positively, offer great distractions that keep them delighted for a half hour and then "Maaaaamaaaa! Uhnnnn!" Ai-yi-yi!
Otherwise, got my plants into the garden, made a decent dinner and as much as I could not control my son's feelings, I did control my own. (Big "patting self on the back" going on right now.) My plans to go out with a friend to an anticipated poetry reading fell through, so we're going to crank up the dvd player and make some gin and tonics just as soon as Little Mr. Wonderful is done with bedtime!
Sometimes evening is the BEST part of the day!:)
ps-- I see some other moms are also going to enjoy a nice beverage this evening. I raise my glass to us all, tired and worthy ladies are we!

hmmmm...well first I was nauseated and tired all day, the glories of pregnancy... I got up my hubby said we should all go to breakfast together, something we never do, it was the greatest. The kids got such a kick out of being scooped out of bed and wisked off to breakfast with daddy, it was awesome. Then we came home and worked our tails off to get the house presentable for the bug man to come and do our quarterly extermination, it was exhausting. Then the kids had some lunch, the younger napped, the older hung out with grandma. Then my hubby got off work early which was a great surprise and we ran out and did some errands together while grandma hung out with the kiddos. When we got home grandma departed and I popped nuggets in the oven, everyone but me loved them, I did not partake, :S Now we are all settled for bed, and I am about to go have a cuddle fest with my three year old before he knocks out... so all in all a pretty good day around here ;)

I'm a little annoyed because I was teaching outside most of the day and it was overcast/foggy and now I have the beginnings of a farmer tan, something I was trying to avoid. Fortunately the kids were in a great mood because the weather was nice and they weren't trapped inside.
The baby (17 months) actually leaned over to give me a kiss, punctuated with a loud "mwah". The four year old farted so much in the car I thought he was going to poop his pants, and then he decided that his farts were too smelly so he 'threw them out the window'.
Good times. Lots of smiling!

I got my car serviced and my hair colored and cut. It took most of the day between the two!
Tomorrow is just another day - we'll be fixing the mailbox and planning my son's graduation party. Then Sunday will come and we'll do it all over.
Smiles to you!
D.
