Ok here it is I know I should know this but since I really don't go to the doctors that offen only when I go for my pap (which by the way i hate)I dont have insurance to go reglularly and like everyone else Im short on cash so I do go to a womans clinic by Harbor Hospital in Carson, they use to ask for donations and now they charge $30 which is still good.

So I've noticed that I discharge a lot its white and thick. I notice this more after my period. Im really prone to yeast infections and some times bacterial infections. But I've learn how to control those two thanks to (YOU MAMASOURCE MOMS) those home remedie (which natural garlic works the best) anyways WHY does this happen, its so hard for me to try to keep my underwears dry because then I get a RASH. I cant win them all. I feel like a broken mom and wife.

This frustrates me alot and my husband and I surfer when it comes to sex. I say NO cause im unconfterable

Please what are your thoughts and ideas, you've helped me out before and I need more help now.

Thanks ladies

I discharge that also. I think it is normal. As long as yuou are not uncomfortable (i.e. stinging or itchy), then I think you are fine. Mine changes thoughout the month, sometimes heavier than other. I wash my underwear now every time I take them off (just in the sinc and that area) then I throw them in the hamper for a better wash.

No homemade remedy for this, pay the 30 bucks and get checked out.

I think some women just naturally have more discharge and are prone to yeast infections. I would suggest making sure you stay as dry as possible (not sleeping with underwear, wearing panty liners during the day and changing when necessary, wearing cotton underwear) and you are eating right. You want to eat things like yogurt. It would be good to talk to a doctor as well. Best wishes.

I agree with a few gals who have recommended that you go to see your doctor. It really does sound like you are having the discharge associated with ovulation. However, when you have a medical concern you absolutely need to get it checked-out by a professional. Go to see your doctor and you will have peace of mind knowing you have done the best thing for yourself and your family.

You need to go to doctor and then get more info from them. It's very risky to rely on medical information from people who are not physicians, especially when it can signal a more serious health problem.

I know you are busy. But take time for yourself then get a pedicure and massage of something before jumping back in the daily grind.

Your body makes mucous before it ovulates to create an environment where the semsn can survive and fertilize the egg. That is why you get more mucous after your period, it is the time before ovulation. You might want to look into the Couple to Couple League International (www.ccli.org) for a Natural Family Planning class near you. It realy teaches you about everything that is going on with your body in the reproductive area and gets you in tune with yourself. Also, then you don't have to use birth control, which affects your hormones and natural systems.

Eat more leafy greens, yogurt, get yourself some probiotics at the health food store(they might be expensive for a bottle...$20...BUT much cheaper than yeast infection creams and lasts a REALLY long time) Also wear only cotton underwear. Throw out any thongs or fancy non-cotton undies. Don't wear nylon stockings. Wipe from front to back. Do ask a professional about it.

Me too by the way. I found that I had to alter my diet to really get it to stop. The garlic didn't work for me. I'm a midwife and it does sound like a yeast infection. If there's an odor go to the clinic. I cut out sugar, bread, alcohol when I could see one coming. Also I use the store bought cream sepositories for night time. Good luck!

Discharge is white and thick when you are ovulating....which usually happens several days after your period. However, this normally should only last a few days, and generally does not cause a rash. Are you on birth control? I highly recommend that you share your experiences with your local clinic. The rash and the discomfort during sex do not sound normal to me, and should be cause for concern. I wish you the best.

Limit your consumption of sugar, bread and alcohol. All of these create a yeast-friendly environment in your body. Make sure you husband showers and is clean before you have sex. His bacteria may be irritating you. Use a hair dryer down there after you shower or bath. Moisture in the area makes for a yeast-friendly environment. Don't wear underwear as much as possible so that air can circulate down there -- when you do wear it, change it often. Eat yogurt to encourage healthy bacteria in your body.
