I just bought bikini cut in a bigger size. I bought cheap ones from Target like Hanes and then I wore them for awhile after the baby came. That way I didn't ruin nice ones.

I just went up a size from my regular underwear and that worked really well. Plus, you aren't paying extra b/c you are buying "maternity underwear"..

I would get low-cut bikinis (which I would never wear in regular life, just while pregnant). I have tried the maternity panties that go up over the belly, and they stretch out so much that the elastic ends up getting shot, then they fall down all day long. the low-rise regular panties (like Hanes or Fruit of the Loom) just stay in place pretty well for me.
Hope that helps!

I read thru the responses and I don't think anyone mentioned something other than bikini cuts basically. Hanky Panky at somewhere like Neimans or Nordstroms are what I wore before, during and still do after pregnancy. They have a very stretchy wide, thin waistband and are so comfy. They're a thong but if you're looking for those too, I'd try them. I love them. haha

any low cut undies will work- but if you want to pay more for a pack that says "maternity" on them, go to Motherhood. They aren't terribly expensive- but they are the same thing as many other low cut bikini, just with a bit more added cost.

Might be too late, since I just read this... but the best ones ever... in MOTHERHOOD. There is an outlet in Grapevine MIlls Mall. They have all the cuts and no seams, really comfy. I loved them.

I had the same issue. I carried very low and had the worse time
With underwear. I finally went to motherhood maternity but even then
they didn't work well. You might try a big size in a bikini style
that would fit under the belly. Good luck

I would try a specialty maternity store. I can't stand maternity panties so I just get the bikini style- they rest right under my stomach and are more comfortable for me.
Good Luck!

M.,
I NEVER wore maternity underwear. I bought a larger size, and then my big tummy just hung over. I don't know if maternity underwear even exists. A larger size should do the trick.

I honestly hated maternity underwear, it never fit right. Too big in the back and would slide down inside my pants as I was walking - very awkward! I wore the low rise hipsters from Gap Body and the boy shorts from there. They fit a little looser and stretched nicely without over stretching and didn't shrink like others do.

I went to Kohl's and found some panties by Barely There. They are not maternity panties, but they come to a "v" in the front which gives you some belly room. They come in all the different cuts from thong to boy short. I liked them because the work well before, during and after pregnancy. If you are not picky on color, they usually have some in the clearance section for a couple bucks a piece.

the maternity places carry them, but they're overpriced. I just bought the next size up in regular panties and that worked the best.

Motherhood Maternity has great maternity panties. They have these really comfortable ones that "grow" with you and still fit perfectly during that time after you have the baby but still can't fit back into your regular panties. There's one in Stonebriar mall in Frisco.

try Motherhood they will probably be expensive though. Even Burlington Coat Factory would be a good place to check. I never invested in the panties or bras I just bought larger sized panties when I was pregnant and even strecth my old one's out. :o) I did buy nursing bras though. Good luck!

I used the Hanes bikini underwear in the package of 5, and I got the same size I would of not pregnant. They are ugly and big, but they stayed in place and sat below my belly. I also don't remember worrying about panty lines either. They were great since I didn't care what happened to them because they only cost $8.99 (or less) for the pack. You can get maternity underwear at Motherhood Maternity but they are a lot more expensive.

Motherhood Maternity has great maternity panties. I think Babies-R-Us carries some Motherhood Maternity stuff, so they might have some as well. I was able to find some at Kohls, but had to ask where they were and they had a very small selection.

I just used regular panties in all 3 pregnancies so you might try just buying a bigger size.
I did see where Burlington coat factory carried nursing bras, but at the time wasn't looking for panties. So they may carry those as well.

Hi! I bought panties at Walmart (of course because they are cheap) and I didn't like them, they got streched out quick. So, I went to Motherhood and bought the Bikinis (that's what I like) but I bought the ones that comes 3 in the package. I tried the ones that comes 4 and didn't like them because of the same problem from Walmart(they got streched out and were not comfortable anymore). Hope this helps! I also bought the bra at Motherhood!

It's been awhile since I was pregnant, but I thought Sears had a great maternity section with with panties, nursing bras, etc.
