Check out Crowder Mortgage in Boulder. Jim Crowder is a wonderful person and will treat you fairly. Tell him that M. Eichhorn referred you. He has does several mortages and refinances for us. He has always found lower rates for us than anywhere else we have looked.

I would HIGHLY reccomend Jason Duffy with Residential Lending. His number is ###-###-####. Several of my family members (including us) have used him, he is honest, considerate, and goes above and beyond. We bought our first house with him, and although we were nervous and worried, he eased our fears, and was able to get us what we needed in a very short amount of time. And he is also a very wonderful Christian man, with a great family.

Hi T. - A girlfriend of mine is a mortgage broker and has been in the business for at least 10+ years. She is reliable, friendly, and does an excellent job as a co-owner of the business. She also has 4 children - 2 teenagers and 2 under the age of 4 (yikes!).

Our Mortgage broker is the Best! My husband met him when he came the the area 12 years ago to interview for a job and has handled all of our mortgage needs ever since. His name is John Stoecker and can be reached at ###-###-#### or by email at ____@____.com family moved from Golden to Westminster almost 5 years ago and have since become friends with John's family who has lived in the area for at least 11 years, maybe longer. Because of the real estate market being what it is, he has decided to be pro-active and"cross train" himself (so to say) to be able to offer his customers a wider range of services. By getting his real estate license, he can find you a house and get you the best mortgage. HIs wife was just telling me that there is a special program for first time buyers so make sure you check that out!

Hi,

I am A.'s husband. She thought I might be able to help... Mortgage broker's can't give you the best rate because in order for them to make money they need to charge you a higher rate than the lender. I just financed my home 1 year ago, and I contacted Bank of America and Wells Fargo and had them give me their best rate, and then I had them compete for my business. I basically said bank A is offering me this, what can you do for me?

The key is, just ask them for a better rate. Also, working directly with the Bank is much safer because you don't have to worry about dealing with the unknown or potentially dishonest people..

One other thing. Often times you can get a better rate with your own bank, because there are built in programs to reduce the interest rate of their customers.

I know a wonderful Mortgage broker, in fact we are in the process of using them on a commercial project right now. Her name is Christine Jensen with Cherry Creek Mortgage, the Arvada Branch (so she does a lot of work for the Westminster/Broomfield area). I also know her father was a Catholic Deacon for many many years at our church. She has three children and a wonderful husband - and somehow manages her work as well. I've seen several of your posts and have often been tempted to respond, but after seeing so many reply, I haven't...

But my husband is the mangager of the Countrywide Branch in Broomfield (off of 120th and Sheridan).

I just wanted to pass along the mortgage broker that I have used as well as about 6 others from our circle of friends. His name is Rob Myers. I interviewed 4 mortgage brokers and found him to be the best not only in terms of the type of loan he supplied, but was always the first to answer all of my questions and very dedicated to making buying a home a fantastic experience. I must have emailed him 60 times and he would always get back to me within 12-24 hours (usually under 12).
