I Am Looking for a Good Spa or Massage Place or Person.

I need a good massage. I have been going to PT , but it will be ending soon and I wanted to find someone who can recommend a place or person who can give a great massage.
I live in the Ashland area and go to framingham and Natick frequently.
If you have any recommendations I would greatly appreciate it.

What can I do next?

I've gotten a couple of really great massages at Regina's in Shaw's Plaza right in Ashland! You'd never guess it's there, by the Dollar Tree and Liquor Store, but it's a beautiful facility inside. The last massage I had was with a sea salt rubdown -- awesome! Enjoy!

I have gone to Regina's in the Shaw's plaza in Ashland on Rte 126 several times. Not recently but there is one woman there I went to for sciatic pain. She was great. I am sorry to say i dont remember her name, its been about a year. But it is very clean and professional. I also had a friend that has been to Sherbon day spa and she liked that one very much. Sorry i dont have names for you.

I have used the Sophia Day Spa, in the CVS plaza on 135 in Ashland. Asian massage therapist, decent price, great results. I am a PT with chronic back problems, and am picky about the quality of massage!

B., I love your title. My title is the COO, although someone recently told me that his wife claims to be the Chief Officer of Domestic Affairs. That one sounds good too. I too have 3 active boys. My oldest just turned 8, the middle is 5 1/2, and the baby is going to be 3 in a week and a half.

At any rate, I haven't had a massage in the metrowest area in a while, although I keep meaning too. However, there are a few day spas in the Framingham/Natick area. On route 9 you have Elizabeth Grady and the new TenSpa. There is also a place in the Cloverleaf plaza, near the Hampton Inn. I want to say it's called Elan. There is another place, and I can't remember the name, maybe Eden, that's on the corner of 126 and Hartford St. in Framingham, just south of the courthouse.

I hope this helps.

I have been to Essential Bodyworks in Lexington a couple of times, they are wonderful... it is a bit far from natick, but worth the trip!

Dear B.,

I know what you mean... I have one scheduled today at my chiropractor's office (info below).

I am pasting a list I had for pregnancy massages that were referred by other moms I know. Many of these places also offer regular massages.

If you need Therapeutic Massage, my chiropractor's office has three amazing massage therapists: www.welladjusted.com
They have a special going on this month $55 for the first massage:

I hope this helps,
A.

I've been to the Cortiva institute in Watertown for student massages. I know the students are not allowed to do pregnancy massages, but they told me you can get an appointment with one of the faculty to do one (though it's more expensive, of course). Here's their number: ###-###-####

I got one at exhale downtown. What's nice is that you can hang out afterwards and take a shower or just sit for a while in a nice room they have.

Destination Maternity on Route 9 has a spa called Edamame that specializes in pregnancy as well as post pregnancy massages.

Hi--I had wonderful pregnancy massages at Isis Maternity in Brookline
and Needham. The ones in Brookline were particularly memorable.
