Hi E.,
I used Hylands Teething tablets on both my children (now 5 and nearly 2) with Great Success!!! In my opinion, they worked much better than oragel or any of the other products. I was able to give them as many as 4 at a time while teeth were cutting with relief. I found them especially effective to give before naps and bedtime.

Hope this helps.

An alternative...Popsicles are a good way to sooth teething...Most stores have popsicles made with fruit juice (Dole, etc...)

They are a miracle tablet! I tried them myself to see what they did, and found that they instantly calmed me. Your child will go to sleep quickly. It is like giving them a cup of chamomile tea, only in a tablet form (that is what it is made of). I never could get them under her tounge; I just put them in her mouth and they dissolve instantly. They don't numb their mouth or anything like that, so sometimes I would use a bit of orajel and teething tablets. Hope this helps!

Yes I am a mom of six and have used them a lot. The good thing about them is that if the little boogers get ahold of them and eat them like candy they wont hurt them. My oldest daughter managed to open the bottle and eat the whole thing. It made her sleepy and that was all. I called them and they said she would be perfectly fine. You might want to try their new teething gel too. I dont know how well it works but it is worth a try. I would have it if I could just remember to buy it ..LOL.

I used them with my youngest. If it was bad I also gave her motrin (pedi suggested this b/c it last longer thru the night than tylenol). I had many friends who suggested the Hylands tablets b/c they had success with them as well. Good luck!

Yes, i used them with my daughter and they worked very well, i also gave her tylenol or ibuprofen, depending on your child's age. Keep in mind they have chamomile in them which is a close relative to ragweed if your child has allergies.

I have used them and I think they work. They seem pricey but you get a lot in that little bottle. I used another brand once that I can't recall now, but it didn't seem to work as well as the Hylands...

We have been using them since my daughter was about 6 months old. And, the seem to work wonderfully. They are part of our routine at this point...in the morning she has her juice and her "pills" and at night before we go to bed she has her milk and her "pills." She takes them very well and we have had no issues at all...I am a firm believer they work.

Yes, they're a well-kept secret! Nothing makes the discomfort go away completely, but my youngest two always got great relief from them. A bonus is that they don't really taste like anything so they don't fight taking them, and they don't give them that freaky numb feeling like Anbesol (my kids did not like that sensation, even when I was lucky enough to actually get some in the right spot!).

Good luck - hope the teething goes as painlessly as possible!

Yes and Yes!!!! These things are the best. When my son was teething I used these all the time. You can even combine them with Oragel or pain/fever reducer meds. Just a bit of advise....I have a dog and when these things would fall on the floor (they are very small) he would go after them and they made him sick.

GOOD LUCK!!!!

i've used them on both my boys. My youngest is 8 months old and i use them daily for him. He has been teething since he was 4 months. no teeth yet, but obvious signs of teething. the tablets take away his irritability and sleeplessness. When he is crying at night, i just go in there, pop in about 3 and he's ok in just a couple of minutes. Good luck! Teething is an interesting experience.

Teething tablets are a great alternative to the often use of Tylenol/Motrin, both of which are wonderful, but if baby is just hurting a bit, without fever, you might want to try the tablets. They are non-medicated, and homeopathic, so you can feel better about giving them to your teething angel. They quickly dissolve when they touch the toungue. Our baby started teething at 4 months & by the time she was 9 months, she had 10 teeth, including 4 painful molars. The teething tablets help to relax them, soothe the pain and help them get rest. Good luck!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE! I used them whenever needed from the time my kids were 6 months until they finished cutting their two year molars! I like these because they are homeopathic and I didn't feel like I was over dosing them on Motrin or Tylenol. You can also use them every hour for 6 hours straight when their teeth are really bothering them, and if they are REALLY hurting ~ you can use them in conjunction WITH Tylenol or Motrin. FYI ~ if they are old enough for Motrin ~ if is most successful for MOUTH pain than Tylenol.
Hope this helps!

we swear by them! we have twins that are 3 1\2 and a 14 month old that has been teething since thanksgiving and i don't leave home without them! they are amazing! the cool part is that they are inpossible to overdose on. if you've noticed the bottle isn't childproof. that's why. they could take the whole bottle and be ok (not that weve tried it!), but if her teeth are hurting that have broken through and just settling in, 1 or 2 is enough. around christmas she was getting in 2 at once, so she got 4 every 5 or 6 hours.i tell everyone i know about them

YES! Absolutely, as soon as the tablets hit my son's tongue, he would stop crying. They're little miracle tablets. My husband and I joked about buying stock in Hyland's because we used it so much during his teething phase. We were just happy that it worked so well for his teething pain.

I bought them for my son when he started teething like crazy around 6 months. And now he's 16 months, and am still using it. It works wonders for my son. I just give him 3 and he's happy. Or if it's late at night, giving him 4 will instantly put him to bed.

I wouldn't use anything else!

Hi E..
I used Hylands tablets on my 6 mo old son when he started teething, and he had a seizure! My advice would be to stay away! My son's Dr almost had a heart attack when she read the ingredients and saw that it contained belladonna, and narcotic.. I know some have used them with no problem, but that was enough of a scare for me.

Hyland's teeting tabs worked wonders for my daughter (now 4yr). They are homeopathic so they will work better for some body types than others. They help my son (1yr) a little, but not as much as they helped dd. The single most important thing I learned about administering these homeopathic tablets:
Place one at a time under the tongue. We started with 3 tabs with her first teeth at 8mos and worked our way up to 6 tabs by the time she got her 2y molars in at 18mos. I don't know what I would have done w/o these tablets!
