he's addicted to the computer and is using it to not deal w/ you and your marriage. You two need to work something out (counselor, etc.) or you won't be married much longer... or stuck in a nothing marriage.

My first husband was a computer game addict. My 2nd is NOT....I chose him that way though..Live and learn.

Unless he admits there is a problem with his enormous amount of time being spent in isolation with a computer game, you're on your own. I would recommend you join a Co-Dependent support group and learn how to set boundaries with this nonsense.

We use to have 2 computers and 2 accounts & played the games together... but right now that is not possible. We have a computer down & no money to fix it and one of our cut backs was the accounts, but with winter coming we reinstated one account. But if you really don't want to play the games... see if he will compromise and give you a date night a week. Eventhough we like playing games... we still do other things - we both like walking in parks & try to take the kids for a walk 1-2 x a week. We also take time to watch tv together and talk even when the other is on the computer. Money is tight (really tight) so dinner and a movie is out at our house... we try for as much free entertainment as possible, so that is why it's the computer, tv, walks, pool in the back yard (sadly summer only), ect.

After you get him away a day, maybe he will want a little more time with you and less with the computer... but then again he may just be someone who you need to play his game to get through. Question is what do you want & what can you agree to... then fight for what you want, but compromise so that you both get a little.
