The pocket (SLIDING) door to our guest bath has somehow managed to lock itself (obviously from the inside). There is no handle on a pocket door, just a hollow metal plate on the outside which you use to slide the door open/shut.
How can we unlock it? Thanks for your help.
I've updated this question. For anyone who's never seen a pocket door, it does not have a regular door handle. You cannot unlock it from the outside the way you would a standard door with a regular handle and lock. So credit cards and small metal rods will not work.
I take an envelope and slide it from the bottom up to open the latch
Usually there is a little key, looks like an L on top of the door frame.
When it happens here, we use something small, the ink pen without the cover (the plastic casing holding the ink) works well, keep poking it and jiggle the handle until it opens.
Sometimes a credit card slid at the handle area will work.

EDIT: We have unlocked doors this way many times. If you can't then I suggest a locksmith. A-1 in Plano is a good company to use. They installed our built in safes and are a reputable company.
my daughter did this with our bathroom pocket door. hubby had to use a screwdriver to turn the slot on the outer side of the little circulary thingy that corresponds to the lock button on the inner side to get the latch thingy to turn - I think some jiggling of the door was involved too. good luck!
usually with a pocket door there is a flat head screw appearance if you use a butter knife of flat head screw driver you should be able to unlock it that way...or slip a flimsy credit card under where the lock is on the door frame and push it up
