How to Stop This Odd Feeling in My Stomach
OK so as of 3-4 months ago I was on an antibiotic and then afterwards I started feeling nauseous non stop and reflux, I went to the DR she said the antibiotic was strong and that was normal well 3-4 months later, the nauseousness and reflux are gone, but I guess I feel every digestive movement in my stomach now I guess gas bubbles, but the feeling freaks me out, it feels like when I was pregnant and afterwards when everythigs shifting around, I'm average height and weight, 145 and almost 6 foot so I don't think its any weight issue, and also I get my period every month, I actualyl have it now, and i'm on the pill, so I'm not pregnant...but the bubbles moving in my stomach feel stronger than ever today....anyway is there a certain diet I can do to stop feeling digestion?
andd btw pms stinks.... i skipped it the week before and feel blahhhh now...booohoo=) sorry that was my added boohoo i'm a girl rant at the end

Acidophilus supplements.
My son added them recently to his daily diet, b/c he had been on meds for an extended period of time. So far, so good.
A medical professional who specializes in natural meds told us about this, b/c the M.D's often want to put you on ANOTHER med for stomach issues. And he's right about that.

I would look into probiotics, and h. pylori. Possibly c-diff too (?).
Strong antibiotics greatly alter your gut bacteria.
Good luck.

Have you been checked for H. pylori (Helicobacter pylori)?

It sounds like the antibiotics threw your gut health out of whack and you need to get it back into balance. Foods that are naturally brined, cultured, and have "good bacteria" in them are what you'd be looking for. So you would want natural soy sauce, probiotic yogurt, natural tofu, natural salsa. When I say "natural" I mean things that haven't been salt-cured but cured using bacteria cultures and went through the natural processes. We've removed most of those things from our diets but they're necessary and replaced them with quick-made items that have too much sodium. It's best to get the good gut bacteria from natural sources.

beeno :) I would also probably try the pro-biotics to get your digestive tract back in order. Other than that enjoy the phantom kicks I never thought I would ever say I enjoy gas because it brings back the pregnancy movements.

ooh J.!!
I'm sorry!! You are skinny for 6'!!! My sister is 6' and weighs 165 and she looks thin!! :) OOOOHHH I'm soo jealous!! (did that distract you?)
What happens if you burp or pass gas? Does it change anything?
It's possible that the antibiotic was too strong for you and caused an ulcer - therefore you are feeling everything in your stomach...I would eat yogurt for another week - if nothing changes, I would talk with my doctor again and let them know this is STILL going on and get to the bottom of it.
GOOD LUCK!!! I hope it goes away this week!!!

I agree with the probiotics posts. My doc recommends Culturelle after antibiotics to get things back on track.
