How to Start Gardening
Hi Moms.. I have a small yard and interested in planting some veggies/fruits etc. I have no knowledge or experience in gardening. How to I start it?? I tried to dig the soil and plant some seeds and stems but it didnt workout. Can you suggest some good websites or gardeners or tips?? Thanks for your help !!

Look up and attend the free workshops at Calloways...WOW, a wealth of information!!! It was great!!!! I now know what to do just need to actually go do it now.....

raised bed garden is super easy. also, try square-foot gardening...you don't need much space and we have not bought cucumbers or tomatoes or onions alll year! If you are in the area, Well's Brothers off of Ave. K in east plano is VERY helpful and has the BEST soil around...their organic compost mix...i swear by it. tomatoes for the fall need to go in soon, you can probably do some in a pot to get started! good luck, I started last year in your same spot, now I am Hookded

www.dirtdoctor.com is a local guy. he advocates organic methods. he's also on the radio, but i've not heard his show.
