How to Decorate Cakes?

There's a place off central expressway in Richardson called Cake Carousel that has classes. I took the basics at Hobby Lobby, but they have lots of other classes there too (and tons of supplies). You can search for classes in your area on www.wilton.com.

You can usually find classes at Michael's Craft store. Good luck.

Michaels offers cake decorating classes at several skill levels.

I had just taken a cake decorating course at Michaels. They offer 4 levels. The first one is very easy and I have had lots of compliments about my cakes I have decorated.

Michaels offers Wilton cake decorating classes. You can pick up the calendars at the front entrance of the store.

Many community centers offer these kinds of classes in the summer, so check with your local one. Community colleges like Tarrant County College or Northlake do as well.

I would try Jo-Ann's they offer classes on decorating cakes. You might try at the big one in Fort Worth near the Ridgmar Mall. They lots of classes there, they have a schedule printed out on a flyer for each month they have classes.

I've never taken any of their classes, however I want to, just don't have the extra money to do that right now.

You might call or go over to Micheals or Hobby Lobby I know that they have cake decorating classes from beginner to advanced. You can give them a try and they also sell the supplies. Good Luck and have fun.

The library offers great books on the subject with helpful tips. It will allow you to work at your own pace and not have to worry about childcare. Of course, the classes AWAY from your children might be part of the incentive!! :)
