The earliest I found out was about 4 days before my period was due...so about 10 days after conceived (ish). *I* saw the line, but my husband had to wait for the test I took on the day my period was due - men! LOL

The soonest I ever found out was 8 days after a 4 day transfer...which would be 12 days post-ovulation. Typically you can find out 3-6 days before you're supposed to start your period.

I got a + hpt 11 days after I conceived, but not everyone has that much hormone, so it may not work like that with everyone.

I was able to find out I was pregnant six days after the ovulation kit said I ovulated. With both pregnancies the positive came up four days prior to when my period was due.

I knew that I was with my last 3rd day of missed period but I waited to make sure so I found out on the 8th with a home test, then a blood test on the 10th.This has been the most earliest for me my third little stink it was 2 weeks late I knew I was but to confirm with a blood test I wanted to make sure did several at home tests I had a pee test done at my DRs office very early & it was undetected,my second about a week late,my first it took me a few days to test I didn't believe I was I knew in the back of my mind that this has to be it so when the test came positive hipp hipp hooray.I never had to do any ovulation kits or test between TTC their are tests that will detect the HCG hormone days before your missed period I just waited to miss mine ,so many woman are different & the @ home test kits can get expensive so if your late I would suggest getting several from the Dollar Tree I have had those including the expensive brands & the Dollar Tree beats the name brands

Technically, almost day of. They will NEVER sell those 'kits', however, since on average 1:4 fertilized eggs self destruct in the first 2 weeks. As heartbroken as women get only 3 weeks pregnant, can you imagine if someone knew 4 times a year? Right now, most women don't, unless they're ttc. They just have their period as normal, or a couple days late and never know they had a chemical pregnancy. Women TTC often know about their chemical pregnancies because some tests are accurate as early as a few days before your period is due to start.

So kits measure for the hormone that takes about 2 weeks to show up in your urine. Aka, 2- 3 weeks after conception. You reeeeally don't want to go earlier. It just spells heartbreak, even though it's both wanted and normal (these aren't birth defects; these are things like acid for blood, or 2 heads and 8 arms and no body, or no organs, or, or, or. AKA the DNA zippered up lethally and it was caught during the numerous spot checks the ovum and the woman's body do throughout the early days (actually ALL our cells do it, all the time. There's a self destruct code in our DNA if anything is wrong. When it doesn't work, we get cancer.
