What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Thanks ladies! I have decided to wait till closer to Thanksgiving to start with some Christmas decor. I don't have much Thanksgiving decor but i may pick up a couple of pieces between the next couple of days. Thanks for all your advice and stories! :)

Thats so funny!!! i have been talking about christmas decor for a couple of months now...ive even been rearanging our living room to figure out where to put the tree :D!!!!! but i am going to wait til thanksgiving...even though its going to be really hard to wait!! i love christmas and the decor but i hate the weather!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im glad to know that im not the only one out there waiting impatiently to decorate for christmas!!!

I was just thinking the same thing this morning. I am going to go ahead and put the lights up on the roof this weekend - weather depending. My mother says it is very tacky to put anything christmas up until the day after Thanksgiving.

I think you can put Halloween up now and start at least on Thanksgiving and then the day of or after start that wonderful Christmas decorations..
I also think as long as your happy with the decorations for longer than a month than go for it.. My Mother-In-Law has already put her lights up outside so I guess its never to early lol..

I would say it all depends on your own opinions. I myself will take my halloween down in the next day or so. But I will then put up some Thanksgiving till day after or so and then start with the Christmas. My personal opinon on Christmas decor is to wait till after Thanksgiving. But to each his own and happy holidays.

I would take the Halloween down and If you have some Thanksgiving stuff put it up. If not then I would wait till the day of or the day after. Now the stores have christmas stuff out before Halloween is even here. I feel that people forget about the meaning of Thanksgiving. It's really up to you I have some friends that put Christmas stuff out before Thanksgiving. I don't put my tree up till the day after, Thanksgiving. We have been doing that since I was little, I'm passing it down to my girls. Our girls look forward to it, when I come back from shopping. Have a safe and Happy Holiday Season.

So, I am soooo glad there is another christmas perosn in the world. I loveeeee christmas. It will be my baby's first so I am super excited. Anyways, This is just my opinion and it's not to be rude, but I think you should wait until closer to thanksgiving to put up your Christmas decorations. Only because people might say something bad about putting decorations out that early. aka "look at the pyscho who already has christmas stuff out and its not even thanksgiving". I wouldn't think that again I love christmas but you know how people are. plus you might get tired of looking at them if you put them up so soon or, you might have a huge electric bill for 2 months instead of just 1. But if you do decide to do it Congrats to you. And MERRY CHRISTMAS:)

It's never too soon to enjoy the wonderful blessings of the Christmas season. I used to think so, but not anymore. I would't put your tree up though until closer to Thanksgiving. Happy Holidays! J.
