How Much Laundry Detergent
I have a strange question here. One of my kids seems to have run off with the little plastic cup that comes with the All. I never bothered to see how much one of those held, and it doesn't say on the bottle. Does anyone have any idea how much detergent I should use in a measuring cup?
So What Happened?™
Thanks so much guys! I'm doing my daughter's laundry today.

I just measured the cup from my Tide and my Dreft-the full load (3) line is 1/3 of a cup. Good question! Never thought to measure before. I save a bunch of those when the detergent runs out because they're always getting lost or stuck in the laundry load. Enjoy your laundry day!

That's a great question - I wouldn't know, either! I would suggest calling All, of whoever the manufacturer is, and ask them; they should be able to tell you. I'm sure there must be a phone number on the bottle. Good luck!

I think a 1/2 cup would be fine. If you use to much the soap may not rinse completely out of the laundry.

It really depends on what kind of washer you have. If it's HE (high efficiency), it will require much less than a traditional washer. And, it will vary from detergent to detergent.
Usually the washer will have a fill-line on it so you don't exceed a certain level of detergent.
The other suggestion would be to either look-up the detergent on their website or the washer's owner's manual to see if they have limitations listed.
